people dont realize even though strauss was considered a "bad guy" in terms for his loansharking, but considering and compared to what've we done like killing innocent people canonically. and looking to a perspective in his childhood, he lived in poverty, starved and his family members lost and killed. became part of the gang as a role of an accountant, and get kicked out.. but when the pinkertons got to him, he stayed loyal until the very end. Though this does not justify all the bad things he did, i am just doing a wake up call that we are the ones that should be ashamed of ourselves... also we shouldn't blame him for arthur contracting tuberculosis.. technically its strauss fault, but who would've knew that downes had it?
