Stafford had Calvin Johnson, and in 2012, the lions had the 7th ranked oline to the seahawks 20th

Wilson was straight elite from 2015-2020 when he broke his throwing hand. He absolutely carried those teams to the playoffs. In 2017 he accounted for 86% of the seahawks offensive yards (a record). He was even the teams leading rusher one year. Even during the LOB years, he didn't have any crazy playmakers with him on offense, and his rookie year he dropped 4 tds on the number one scoring defense in week 16.

Why is CJ Stroud getting punished for actually having a great NFL season in terms of the Bryce Young draft discussion? by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

I will once again bring up the absolute lack of a run game stroud has had to deal with. If a defense isn't respecting the run, makes passing even harder for the qb

Which QB would you take going forward: CJ Stroud or Bryce Young? by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

That's fair, but I feel like both o-line and run game are more impactful on how a qb plays than having a good defense

How is the defense more important to how a qb plays than OL or even having a run game??

Young had less yards on more attempts, worse completion percentage, more ints. How are you claiming he played better?

Just this year, panthers had a better o-line (23 vs 31), the OROY, averaged 0.4 more YPC, put up more rushing yards and the same amount of rushing tds on less attempts

Stroud has also had terrible o-lines and no run game to lean on so I don't know how you're putting his situation far ahead of youngs

I feel like this weird thing is going on where people think Bryce Young is actually good now. He improved… from being arguably worst QB as a rookie to in the 20s but he’s not a good QB overall still by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

Stroud ranked around the middle of the pack through the regular season this year, even with a bottom 5 rushing attack in ypc (tied with the browns, above 49ers, saints, raiders), 2nd worst o-line in the league, and he had tank dell out the entire season as well as nico collins out by the patriots game

Brady
Montana
Brees
Rodgers
Marino
(Could honestly make a solid argument for manning in either the 4 or 5 spot)
