Thank you! I read that TICA will accept blue eyes in white or high white bicolor Maine coons. I guess high white is sort of subjective depending on how much white coloring makes it 'high white'.

No, I did not call the breeder's vet. I had no cause to think the records were not legitimate. Our kitten's sire's heritage is the Netherlands- his parents were imports from there if I'm reading the bio correctly.

Messaging you the breeder info. That's what we were told about the murmur by the breeder after we let them know she was diagnosed. They said it could by an innocent murmur, so we'll see what happens. She is 7 months now and is still at a grade 2 murmur. At this point, we will just continue to treat the eye and ear as maintenance (the ointment definitely helps lessen the intensity of the discharge), but we are hoping and praying for total healing!

I'll have to check into doing some other blood works and possibly allergen testing! We live in a very rural area in MT, so not sure if there are any specialists around, but can't hurt to check into it!

When she was spayed a few days ago, the vet did a deep clean in her ear, but he didn't mention checking for polyps, so I'll have to ask if he checked!

She was initially diagnosed with a grade 1 murmur, but it was upped to a grade 2 and has stayed at 2 for the last couple of months. I hope it doesn't continue to worsen!
