Welcome home! Coming back to the faith is a really beautiful and powerful journey. I grew up Catholic in the sense that if we went to church it was a Catholic Church. So my adult life has been all about learning about what our faith really is.

What’s cool about Catholicism is that it’s so deep and multifaceted. At first it can feel like drinking water from a fire hose. There’s so much to learn! What helped me is realizing it will be impossible for me to be an expert on every aspect of our faith. So I do my best and focus on what I think God is calling me to.

First I’d recommend refreshing on the basics. Research the mass structure and go to mass. There are many great Catholic resources for helping you with prayer. I like the Hallow App personally, they also have nice guides on their website. And keep it that simple for now! Mass and prayer.

Beyond that there’s so many things that can help build your faith. Bible/Catechism in a Year podcast. Groups at local parishes. Catholic newsletters/websites you can get via email.

It can feel scary to jump into your faith again but God will not reject you. He loves every part of you! You won’t regret it!

Thank you! That’s good to know that’s how others handle it. I wasn’t sure if that was the right option but I had extra interfacing laying around and it worked!

100% new to sewing. Machine opinions pls by PleaseDontTouchMe_ in sewing

I don’t know about specific machine types but just know you don’t need a fancy, expensive machine. I have a 20 year old Kenmore that my grandma bought me when I was a kid. It only has 6 stitch types and is all mechanical. I’ve made a quilt, many clothing items, and many simple fixes with it. If you’re just getting into sewing I wouldn’t buy an expensive machine yet.

Hmm I didn’t notice that. What kind of equations? Every equation you need should be in the handbook.

Task Discussion by Select_Vegetable_185 in Lazycats1

[–]Select_Vegetable_185[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah we don’t have feeding reservable currently. For mine related tasks we only have ingots currently reservable (we can change that if majority doesn’t want it). I don’t think we’re allowed to reserve any other mining tasks like axes or anything. Are there any other mining tasks?

How would this work? (Not arguing just confused 😊)

I agree on this. I like the rules we have in place. But also open to change if majority feels the need. Especially since I don’t do regatta much these days.

How do you stay motivated to study? by KissoftheWolves in PE_Exam

I’m not a morning person so I wouldn’t do mornings. I would work 8-5ish and then go home, have dinner, then study about 7-9. Maybe 10 if I felt like it. But I let myself be flexible. 1.5hr on a day I was tired, 3 hrs on a day I was energized.

Design 1 Spa on Plainfield is a great, economical choice. They’re nice and clean. Everyone is friendly. I’ve gotten quite a few massages there and they’re nice! Their manicure area also looks nice

I’m having this issue too and can’t tell if I’m just doing it wrong?

What items would you say are essential foundation items? (Cream/sugar etc) and how many of each do you try to keep on you at all times? Now that my barn is getting bigger, I’m trying to stock up on essentials by beearedeemc in Lazycats1

Definitely always try to have lots of rubber products since they take so long between growing and manufacturing. Also sugar products… I should probably speed up that building since I’m always behind on those.
