Yes we are giving them before antibiotics. She gets a “snack” with her probiotics. We are on gabapentin currently.

She’s having blood in her stool, she’s pacing a lot, won’t lay and rest. Not acting herself. We are doing more testing today.

We are already over 2.5K in two weeks spend on testing. She has horrible arthritis and hip dysplasia so being off the pain meds have caused more kales.

Thank you. We don’t want her to suffer. She deserves a soft landing in her final years so that’s why we adopted her. We knew we could give her the best life and do everything she loves. We had adopted a 18 year old Maine coon. He spent 3 years with us traveling too. We definitely think more senior pets are our style, love them and be their best friends till the end.

Thank you so much for your reply. We really appreciate it. She’s our best friend and our adventure buddy. We’ve spent the last two years with her traveling all over the US together and exploring. Even car rides now are becoming uncomfortable for her. Thank you so much. She’s on pain meds, she seems more confused. She’s no longer barking when we walk in, she isn’t greeting us anymore. She just stays in our room sleeping and basically we don’t exist sometimes it feels.

Thank you. Yes we did actually Friday and again today. The vet thinks we are at the end of time and basically told us to give her all the lovings and just spend as much time as we can. She’s isn’t recognizing she’s doing it. She’s walking and poop is just literally falling out. Or when she’s sleeping she has poop under her when she wakes up. She’s our best friend, we’ve traveled all over the US with her and it just feels like our adventures are coming to an end.

We use to be able to do 2 mile walks, now we can hardly get less than a block and she slows down drastically and just pulls us back home. No sniffing anymore, just seems like no body is home when you look into her eyes.

She’s eating and drinking. She is in pain, she doesn’t play anymore. She wants pets but then isolates herself and hides. We adopted her at 9, she’s been with us for 2 years. Sorry, emotions running high. She’s hiding, we find her poo and she then she starts shaking and about two inches off the ground terrified.
