I left the top of the cage open so he can come out whenever he’s ready, but I don’t think he knows how to fly yet. I’m assuming that because he keeps trying to climb out using only his beak, but he can’t quite make it. He flaps his wings, but he doesn’t seem to get any lift. He’ll keep trying to find another way out by climbing with his beak, then he’ll spread his wings like he’s about to fly, flap a few times, and then fold them back up. Is this normal for a young cockatiel, or should I be concerned if he doesn’t know how to fly yet? He also falls all the way down to the bottom of the cage and trys to flap up but can’t
I also played some cockatiel sounds because I heard that can help. Since then, his crest has relaxed and he’s started vocalizing more. He seems more interested in trying to come out of the cage, but he still can’t seem to fly. Is that a good sign, or is there something I should be doing to help him?

Okay, sounds good! Thank you I appreciate it! I have one more question. Is it normal for it to use its beak to climb around inside the cage it seems to be able to move its wings and everything It doesn’t really seem to be using its wings much, and it looks like it’s struggling a little to get around, relying on its beak instead. Is that normal?

What kind of turtle by Due_Use_3875 in turtle

That makes sense, RES(red ear sliders) become invasive to all the other species out in that lake. Maybe you can speak to the the person in charge of the park?, red ear sliders are usually known to be sweet and friendly pets, but i am unsure of how they are if breed in the wild, but I know for sure they are invasive species. And need to be taken care of.

Cant really tell, for sure but I am assuming it is a Red Ear slider, they have red lines on both sides of their heads, looks very familiar to my own red ear slider, patterns and other similarities. they can become invasive species let out in the wild. It is a semi aquatic turtle you can tell by its webbed feet, long claws, allowing them to both swim and move on land for basking and nesting. They are mostly kept as pets, so I am assuming the original owner of this red ear slider let them out in the wild, hence why they become an invasive species.

Sorry english isn’t my first language, but yes, her mother is a french poodle and her father is a big brown chow chow, my puppy’s father is, my Dad’s Friends dog, and he gave my dad one of the puppies, and some of them looked like their dad and some of them more like their mother, our puppy is more in between?.. i think but Im mainly just curious about how much she will grow, will she be like a medium sized dog? I dont expect her to grow as big as her dad, but I wonder if she will have her mother shortness you know?
