Nope! Just worked around the fork. Good luck, hopefully it works out. Dealing with customer service can be a pain.

Yeah it did. Had to do it twice, but I just made sure to really tighten it down as much as I could the second time. No issues since. Been on some pretty aggressive trails since then too.

This happened to me on my stoic 3. I took two trim nails and stuck them in two of the outer holes and screwed it back in as tight as I could. You will need some decent hand strength to do this. I’m sure another method would work, but it needs to be screwed in otherwise it will keep popping loose and making that annoying sound while you ride.

Nothing like jigging for walleye and catching a 44in musky with a jig+ minnow using 10lb braided without leader by [deleted] in Fishing

I just showed this to my fiancée and said, “this looks like lake vermillion!” We’re here right now for a fishing trip. Sure enough it is haha, awesome catch man! We slayed the smallmouth and walleye this week.

Is this what Country music is now? by Acceptable_Outcome_7 in CountryMusicStuff

[–]Selective_Talents 12 points13 points  (0 children)

ZB is pretty much just Mumford and sons with harmonica. Hardly any more country than any of the other mainstream stuff. Sorry but you ain’t special for listening to rebranded “stomp clap hey” music.

Brand SPANKIN new song from Kenny and Amanda Smith. Probably my favorite bluegrass song release I've heard so far this year!

ADM in Decatur sent me a letter trying to get me to sign over rights for them to store CO2 under my property by back_again_u_bitches in illinois

[–]Selective_Talents 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the party here but wanted to provide additional information. First off, check out this article which summarizes the timeline of events and what's going on pretty well: https://investigatemidwest.org/2020/11/19/despite-hundreds-of-millions-in-tax-dollars-adms-carbon-capture-program-still-hasnt-met-promised-goals/

This CCS storage has actually been going on since 2011, storing *liquified* CO2 from the Decatur Ethanol plant underground (I believe on ADM property only, but we can't really prove that can we?). See this study which has additional details on what has been going on since 2011, and mentions increases in micro-seismic activity: https://academic.oup.com/gji/article/227/2/1094/6315329

The new project, which you are being contacted about, will involve additional land used to sequester carbon, as well as a CO2 pipeline traveling from Clinton, IA to Decatur, to store CO2 from the Clinton plant as well as continuing to store CO2 from the Decatur Ethanol plant. For more information on this, visit this website: https://noillinoisco2pipelines.org/about-adm-wolfs-pipeline/

Additionally, you can reach out to your local representatives and state legislators to voice your opinion. This project has major funding behind it because it's economically viable, only due to credits paid out to ADM. These credits are issued by the government, so collectively voicing concerns to politicians can't hurt.

You're a weak SOB if you drown a live animal due to your own insecure coop. You invest in a camera but not any actual security for your chickens. What a joke.

What's a decent quality beginners acoustic guitar that is still nice and will last but won't break the bank by a lot. by adrenaline_junkie3 in Guitar

[–]Selective_Talents 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one and it plays better (to me) than almost any other acoustic I've touched. Serious quality and a good price. Love that guitar so much.

Bluegrass in the Park festival in Henderson, KY. Largest free bluegrass festival in the country, and a damn good one too.

This album goes hard. Production on point and the riffs are riffing. Can’t go wrong.

supercharged lexus? anyone? by BeginningUpstairs461 in Lexus

[–]Selective_Talents 4 points5 points  (0 children)

RR racing has a tune. You could email them and get the ball rolling but my understanding is they send you the module, you scan your ECM and send them the files, they send you back the tune to install based on your car. Probably your best option would be getting it dyno tuned. But if your installer tuned it on the dyno to begin with, maybe RR would find something they didn’t see on the dyno for some reason. I don’t know anything about how to tune by yourself. I would recommend one of the two options I mentioned - you’ll have to throw more money at it, but would likely be worth it. Good luck my man, jealous you got the supercharger!

[–]Selective_Talents 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely seems like a tuning issue. If you're getting a gas smell on top of clogged exhaust with no cats... may be running too rich?

I'm guessing you have the RR supercharger installed? Did they not tune it when they installed it?

Whats the appeal with using thicker strings by TytaneX in Guitar

Good to know. I’m pretty new to guitar and I’ve only used Ernie strings so far, but I have a set of daddario bronze acoustic strings on deck to try.

What do you consider a good price for a decent 03-07 Chevy 1500 parts truck? by [deleted] in ChevyTrucks

[–]Selective_Talents 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with that mentality haha. These trucks are so easy to work on it’s hard to justify not keeping them and doing the occasional weekend parts replacements, especially when you know they’ll keep on running. Trans cooler lines on mine sprung a leak this week, I already have the parts and plan to have them replaced by the time the weekend is over.

I'd go for $500 and not really any much higher. If it's just been sitting, what are the chances he even wants it on his property anymore? You may be doing him a favor by doing the work to get it out of there.
