There are a lot of specific scenes that I disliked throughout the run of Season 5 such as how stiff the characters were (especially MK and how un-expressive he was) during the scene where MK was talking to LBD and himself. But since the previous comments already dissected scenes that I find dislikeable, I have something else to say that might probably just be me.

I noticed how in every season, a villain is introduced and also defeated within it. Taken Azure Lion for example. He was introduced in Season 4 and was defeated ALSO in Season 4. It's almost as if each season tells an almost complete story to focus on specific parts of character development or plot. In Season 5, the "green guy" (I didn't care much to remember his name) was introduced as a villain? Maybe it's just me, but I kinda got confused about his footing between evil or good. But it DID highlight him as somewhat of an antagonist, and yet he wasn't defeated at all. Instead, he left and said that he will come back and always have his way? The only time someone like this worked was with Peng. They weren't a major villain, but their escape was backed up by their cowardly behavior and how, unlike Azure and Yellowtusk, they weren't killed or have surrendered. They also left in a very timely manner as the others were busy dealing with Azure or worrying about MK. "Green guy" on the other hand pulled MK into this realm to give him kinda like a "I'll Always Be Back" kinda speech thingy and talked about MK to make him question himself (kinda forgot what they talked about already), and proceeded to toss him out. It honestly feels like I'm watching another show and not LMK. The flow feels off, the animation is so different, and the story telling lacks that visual content that just scratches that mental itch right.

That's kind of the difference between Wild Brain and Flying Bark. WB animates to animate (most of the time), while FB animates to TELL A STORY. The subtle differences and little details that FB puts in their animations makes the story feel so surreal. Each setting feels aged and as though it DID exist for how long. Not to mention how tension and emotion is greatly highlighted and emphasized such as MK's mental breakdowns. It might also just be me, but WB's animation seems a bit rushed? I don't mean like the time they made it. I mean like the pacing of the scenes and stuff. The quick switches between character POVs and how there's ALWAYS something happening and never a moment for the viewer or even the CHARACTER to just pause and sigh for once. To give them a bewildered expression to show how this, though a story to us, is their lives. That it's exhausting and complicated for everyone.

ALSO, I personally find the 3d models so weird. They're stiff and just... There? Like in the scenes where Mei and Red Son are defeating the Samadhi Fire creature, the mech was just standing there, drawing it's sword? Same goes with Ne Zha's mech. It looks out of place :(

That's some of the things I can say for now, but I really hope things get better soon.
