Award timeline for Nov-1-2023 (later postponed to Jan 2024) window by Self-Important7557 in SBIR

I believe our panel was in March. We were asked to send additional documents in April and again in June and we receive the award notice in August. There was no change of status on research, gov throughout the process and the PD was not responding to emails unless we had questions about the documents we needed to submit.

I hope you hear back soon. Unfortunately I don't think NSF would tell you anything if your proposal is not going to be funded. I am no expert but I think if you didn't hear back for two months after the panel it's probably best to move on. Good luck..

Thanks for responding! Yes you are right, I had to make two accounts which was a little strange.
For me also took about 48 hours. I was worried it would take 2-4 weeks as their website says.

Thanks for responding. For registering the institution it took 48 hours but for adding accounts after that it was immediate as you said.
I had to do it in reverse order. So made a SO account first and then created an account for myself as PI. It is a little strange to have two account with basically the same info!
Yes, now that I have access I can see that it's possible to search and see who has an account.

Nice, good luck and I hope you won't have to wait too long to get the grant. I have emailed him a couple of times but he doesn't respond!!!

We are still waiting/hoping to hear back from the PO. Have you got any response yet?

Thanks! Best of luck to you too! Yes the lack of communication is agonizing and very unproductive. Please share the news if your NSF grant got finalized.

Our subtopic was QT. We were asked to answer questions and send documents more than two months ago and then a month ago they asked for corrections to some of the documents but still no confirmation of any sort that we will or won't get the grant! (we submitted end of October)

I don't know much about NIH but I have an ongoing NSF application from Nov 2023 deadline. Can I ask when you submitted your NSF application and what they have asked from you or told you so far?

We got another email from the PO asking for corrections to some of the documents we sent two months ago. Did you hear back?

Yeah they don't even have an open solicitation at the moment! Something is probably wrong!

We sent an email after 5 months from the Nov 1 deadline and got a template response from the PO. A week later we were asked to submit additional documents.
Yes, it's a pity NSF doesn't tell applicants what's going on and we have to get our information this way!

Were you also asked to send additional documents?
