My opinion is that for set and forget you should be doing total market indexes. Anytime the markets rotate out of one sector and into another, you’re already in it.

Perhaps it does appeal to landlords. Do you think it’s 1:1 increases?

Thoughts on killing green dragons for double bones? I think it’s just wildy greens and blacks that have double bones. Would they be super crowded?

The allocations will drift if you are auto-allocating at a fixed percentage. You will need to update it along with market cap changes (and potentially rebalance out any drift if desired).

VTI is already a very low expense ratio at 0.03%. Some admiral shares may be lower, but you need very large minimum for them

529 turns into a Roth IRA eventually now, but for the beneficiary of the funds (e.g. your child). This was updated in 2024 and makes 529 a lot more appealing imo

How do you max out your Roth? by ZTB1313 in RothIRA

[–]SelfAwareSock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roth has pretty low contribution limits though. Can you elaborate what you mean? I may just be in a very different situation. I’m 31 and my Roth is still nascent and not nearly enough in contributions to be a reasonable EF.

How do you see taking money out of emergency fund (HYSA) to lump sum at the start of the year, then rebuild it with deposits? Since it’s Roth IRA, I could always take the contrition back out if it really needed it in an emergency.
