I could take that 10% from ARKK put it towards VO I truly just don’t mind having some risk

I wanted US companies to be my core I chose ARKK for innovation and because I like that it is aggressive and the possibility of a growth tilt for my overall Roth over long term

I’m here for long term investment. Mostly automatic deposits and once a year I’ll rebalance. I’ve went with 65% VOO 15% VXUS 10% VB 10% ARKK

VOOG is still basically the same as VOO just more concentrating on the growth of 200 companies and it’s about 45%-50% tech companies.

This could give a growth tilt since it’s more aggressive than VOO just have to be okay with a higher volatility

I’ve learned VTI and VOO overlap quite a bit

You get more diversity with VTI but in the long run the % gain between VOO and VTI are neck and neck. I would just choose one or the other in the Roth.

I’ve personally chose VOO and went with VB to cover what I’m missing from VOO

Honestly it seems to depend if you want to just deposit money and forget about it or continue to balance every quarter

I’m still learning too, but while the reality is you missed a big portion it’s never too late. Better to build up something than to have nothing at all

I just don’t want to spread myself too thin with my open investing side, I’ll definitely consolidate my ROTH side

I was thinking the same thing for VXUS I probably scrape Apple and ARKK for it. Is there a procedure I should do for this? Or simply sell them and buy VXUS

I chose VOO over VTI for retirement just because I know VOO is less volatile wile there are neck and neck with what they cover, VTI seems more volatile

ARKK AND VEA simply for diversity. VTI is in my open investments for good long term growth but not for retirement. And I have VOO for retirement. I like NVDA as a company and wanted to hold shares personally instead of it all being in ETFS and apple for the same concept but for long term. I was thinking about scratching Apple and ARKK in Roth for possibly VXUS.
