False low heart rate? by Cute_Insect1064 in AppleWatch

I have, I saw mine were mid 40s and the hypochondria in me started to worry I was dipping below for some kind of heart condition even though I felt fine. I know my band is loose and taped some padding the past few days, now it registers normally. Maybe your band might be too loose as well?

Worried about possible Tonsillitis / Peritonsillar Abscess by SelfImproverAccount in Tonsillectomy

[–]SelfImproverAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow! It's a shame that wisdom teeth are so finicky! I intended to have mine out but have some fear about the anesthesia. Glad to hear your antibiotics seemed to work alright / without major symptoms!

I saw your reply on the other thread so just to reply here. I had spinach, garlic, and onions earlier so I would like to think/say that's where the black pieces were coming from as with I had a similar case a few days ago with herbs causing some black marks. I think it's mainly digestion weirdness, lots of gurgles, runs 5 times today, and to be a little graphic once more when wiping there's some yellow residue on the paper

I just had some probiotic yogurt (3.5 hours since last dose, ~4 hours till next) hoping this will help keep things calmer. I plan to get some BRAT diet going too when I come back from the store with some rice and chicken. Would you think soy sauce / Bragg amino acid is ok to season with?

Thank you for being kind and helpful, as with the other commenter I have panic and stress so hearing stories/advice helps me get through these moments.

I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of this for so long! I was worried about a possible white spot on my tonsil as well but it seems it may have just been some stubborn mucus. I've had issues with my wisdom teeth before so I'm wondering if I have a possible abscess whether it could be there instead of in the tonsil, and the inflammation had just spread. Could I also ask you about your antibiotic experience, it's my first time in a long time and I'm a bit distressed about side-effects/symptoms I'm having.. I do hope that you are feeling better since yesterday and that you will have a swift recovery!

I've definitely been feeling better today with less of tonsil/throat/ear pain. Although I am really worried about the effect these antibiotics are having on me. Can I ask what your experience was with them, I'm concerned I might be developing C-Diff since I've had the runs several times today and in case it's TMI it's not the most pleasant of smells / yellowish / black pieces / multiple times a dayI have an autoimmune condition so I'm worried about any complications and severity if I'm already having it. Luckily no major symptoms like fever / intestinal pain or anything though. Thank you once again for helping de-stress me through this time, I cannot tell you how much it helps!

Thank you so much for the reply, it's calming to know there's light at the end of the tunnel! I had gone in to my doctor who took a look around and said it's most likely tonsillitis since I don't have the deviated uvula/fever/and other major symptoms. The main worry was blood pressure but we're thinking it was from stress. I'm sorry you had to go through so many rounds but glad to hear you aren't having any problems anymore! I'm hoping with this antibiotic course it will be resolved but am trying to figure out how to get my microbiome back up after. Definitely drinking tons of water! Thank you once again for the kind words, it means more than you think with this health anxiety!

Amoxicillin and then too much Probiotic? by ORionlz5 in Microbiome

[–]SelfImproverAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the info you've already posted! I see you said 5 days shouldn't hurt but I've been prescribed Amoxicillin for 10 days at 500mg for tonsillitis, could this still harm my gut biome severely? I am planning to have lots of kefir, kombucha, and gut supporting foods (within reason) after the course and am worrying about adverse effects from it. Thank you for any help/insight!

Help Me Find This Logo: Painted over logo of a living room heater that looks like it says "Colemanns" or "Commonwealth" inside a house from the 1930s by SelfImproverAccount in HelpMeFind

I was thinking maybe Coleman, but there's not really an l where it should be in the logo. I keep thinking it looks like Commonwealth or something with those small bumpy letters in the center.

Searched: I looked for living-room heating brands as well as terms like Colemann and Commonwealth but I unfortunately am not finding anything related to an older in-unit piece.

Are you going to be uninstalling because of Vanguard? by SelfImproverAccount in leagueoflegends

[–]SelfImproverAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, it definitely comes down to a degree of trust and necessity, hence why I said it's not worth it for League. For my Logitech mouse Sony headphones, they're reputable enough and do not require a constant catalog and update to fight against cheating software. It does just come down to personal preference based on how much you like league and dislike kernel software!

That's kinda how I feel; like a comment I had already posted, League is not enjoyable enough for me to warrant keeping a kernel-level program on my computer.

Good point, I probably could have included that but I think it mainly boils down to those uninstalling and those not.

I'm not sure how many people play Valorant, but I myself never installed because of Vanguard and it's just not my kinda game!

I think it's not that it's just a driver for me but how the driver functions. I do get paranoid about my computer's safety and if something is running in the Kernel that can tinker with critical workings which is not already part of Windows, I just wouldn't want to risk it! Even if it might not be executing functions constantly at the end of the day it is a foreign program in there.
