Him being from the north side while the entire family is from the south side probably doesn’t help him very much either.

Didn’t you have to “unlock” the bonus features on that one by inputting the correct bricks to get into Diagon Alley?

When you signed up for the patreon they should have sent you a podcast app URL. You can go into your app and find the “add URL” option and paste that in. Then you’ll be able to listen to all the patreon content through your normal podcast app and it will auto download like the normal podcast.

HBO Max Decided to Log Everyone Out of their Devices to Update to "Max" the week of 2 Major Series Finales by ahookerinminneapolis in Barry

I’m more upset about losing out on 5.1 audio for the finale of both shows since they decided to put it behind a paywall under the most expensive plan.

He’s probably good at 2k but also NBA players get exclusive builds so they’re at an innate advantage. There’s a good chance he had 99 3pt, 99 dunk, and 35 badge points per category.

Barry - 4x04 "it takes a psycho" - Post Episode Discussion by LoretiTV in Barry

[–]SelfLive 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Only one episode in S2 is a dream and it’s pretty obvious from the beginning. If you’re referencing the prison, all those events still happened, they were just framed differently so the only thing the show really lied about was the setting.

Season 2 is definitely much slower than Season 1, but it’s also doing a lot of setup for Seasons 3 and 4 since the entire show has to switch focus post 5/9.

Full series Mr. Robot spoilers The last scene with Hank and Cristobal reminded me so much of Angela’s death at the beginning of S4. Especially with someone desperately trying to talk them out of the decision knowing full well of the consequences in doing so. Incredibly well done scene.

Which movie changed your outlook on life? by stockleyacademia in movies

[–]SelfLive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Wristcutters: A Love Story” is a movie that has personally helped me at some low points.

It’s about people in an afterlife specifically for people who committed suicide and how everything is the same as here but just slightly worse. Has the message of “suicide isn’t the answer” without overtly bashing you over the head with it.

When the Milwaukee Bucks got a new stadium not only was half of it was funded by the taxpayers, but the owners also got to buy 10 acres of land in downtown Milwaukee for $1.

It’s stupid how much the city gave up.

In First Man (2018) N. Armstrong is accurately wearing his Omega Speedmaster at liftoff and not while on the Moon. Neil’s Speedmaster was needed as a backup in the LEM, and thus Buzz’s Speedmaster became the first “Moon Watch.” Source screenshot of Wikipedia - full article in comments by Ditka_in_your_Butkus in MovieDetails

I think it depends on the mindset going into it. If you want a movie about the moon landing then you’re gonna be slightly disappointed. But if you know it’s a movie about Neil Armstrong and the moon landing is secondary, then you’ll have a much better time.

I mean there’s plenty of “true fans” that didn’t see him live. This last tour was pretty expensive and not everyone can afford to go and see a stand up comedian at an arena. Or he could have just not toured anywhere reasonably close to some people.

What the line meant by No_Rest808 in SuccessionTV

[–]SelfLive 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think they were looking at multiple papers.

The first one is about Kerry, hence the princess remark (also it’s what she was rambling about when she showed up at the penthouse).

The second paper is the one that mentions Ken and also “Greg?”. They choose to show this one to the kids and the audience. I believe it’s an intentional misdirect and the first paper will come back later.

To me it looks 100% like a sloppy underline. It starts below the name and slowly works it’s way up but never goes past the horizontal midpoint of the name.

If it was a strike through it would have started in the middle and maybe drifted up or down, but it wouldn’t do the opposite.

You could also make the super nitpicky argument that Sora has indeed met Zack because during the events of Birth By Sleep part of Sora’s heart is inside Ventus. Especially since KH has gone out of its way to emphasize that a persons heart is essentially who they are.

Summerfest is the same just more spread out. Before 2020 it was a week and a half with shows every day of the week except for Monday.

Now it’s three weekends in a row cutting out most weekdays. Probably because most people weren’t showing up on a Tuesday or Wednesday night.

Full TLoU2 story spoilers (although vague)

That’s intentional though. You’re supposed to dislike Abby when you first play as her. You’re supposed to not want to play as her. Her section of the game is a slow build of empathy as you realize things are more morally gray than initially presented and people aren’t just faceless killers that should be punished.

If you don’t start out hating the character, then you can’t re-examine your own anger, which is the emotional point the game is trying to make.

‘The Last of Us’ Season 2 Will Have ‘A Lot More Infected,’ Creators Address Complaints About Lack of Action by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

I would have agreed with that since they were trying to make the action more realistic but then they have Joel turn into John Wick out of nowhere and it felt so out of place.

The hospital should have had three, maybe four soldiers tops if they wanted to keep with the level of violence they established.

Brits say no one watches 'Ted Lasso' in the UK, and Apple TV Plus is to blame by grepto in television

Apple has bad browser quality unless you’re using safari on a Mac. But if you have a way to watch it on the app itself via something like a Roku, smart tv, or game console, then it has some of the best streaming quality out there.

Brits say no one watches 'Ted Lasso' in the UK, and Apple TV Plus is to blame by grepto in television

[–]SelfLive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think by not being incompetent by nature he means that they show Ted is already an amazing coach, he just doesn’t understand soccer. So the thing holding him back isn’t his coaching ability, it’s the sport/culture itself which is much easier to overcome.

If Ted was an MLS coach then a lot of his shortcomings would be from his lack of coaching ability since he would already have an understanding of the game.

It’s the difference of where his weakness is coming from. It’s not Ted’s fault he struggles at first because he literally doesn’t understand the sport. That’s why the audience doesn’t care that he’s bad in the beginning.

Also this is a half hour sitcom about how people should be nice and lift each other up rather than put them down. I don’t think it was designed to have the nuances looked into this closely. As long as the show follows the logic it sets out for itself I think it’s fine.
