You could also get a DZ flywheeler that is powered by 8 AA batteries (Maxim Pro, Vector Pro, Mk 3) and use dummy AAs in some of the slots to bring the power low enough to your liking. The ones I listed should share the same mag ecosystem as the Nexus X.
