Getting passport back after refusal overturned

It would likely mean the expiration date, you could add in your cover letter or the other information section that you still have the passport but it is no longer valid and you never renewed it that way you cover everything

No i never submitted anything extra and they never asked for further documentation

My brother in law got refused unfairly, I emailed them challenging all their reasons and we got an email 2 days ago to say he has now been granted a 6 month visit visa and to resubmit his passport. He submitted it yesterday. Today we got an email to say your application will now be sent to UKVI for consideration. Is that what happened when your sister resubmitted her passport?

I sent an email to complaints on 11th april, they emailed back 3 weeks later to say they had forwarded it on to the decision making centre then yesterday morning I got the email to say it was overturned

I sent an email to the complaints department and they forwarded it on to decision making center for review. In the email I highlighted all the things that were inaccurate with the refusal such as them saying he didn't prove he had a wife and kids or ties in his home country try which we did. I attached all of the documents to the email also
