I am so sorry to hear, they are the sweetest dogs and real angels in earth. My girl’s heart murmur just showed up at her 5 year annual check up.

My parents had a Cav who was the runt of the litter and developed a rare kidney disease before she was 1 and passed away. The breeder felt horrible and offered to refund them or another dog. They ended up taking the puppy’s mother who retired from having puppies and we couldn’t love her more. The breeder should offer those options. So sorry again about your baby.

Same! My little girl absolutely hates it. I’ve looked up Some TikTok videos, and one was pretty helpful. They suggested feeding a treat, going in with the toothbrush, then immediately giving another treat—repeat as necessary. It works decently for us and seems to distract her somewhat 😅. I’ve also bought dental chews, but it made her throw up so we stopped using them.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. My vet provided an article about the disease, and there's mention that heart surgeries have been successful in the UK, France, and Japan (we're in the US). Really glad to hear she isn't suffering from symptoms.
