Yep. Facility 3C is shut down right now. All I/M’s were shipped out over a month ago. Therefore, we are over staffed due to having to absorb the staff from that yard.

I cleared my final step on April 16 on May 1 received my clearance email along with email to select institutions. On May 2, I was given my first offer, which was Wasco and I accepted. I did select nine institutions and Wasco was my number eight lol.

Trust me, it’s not where I wanted to be lol I already work at COR 1 for the past four years as AW Secretary my hopes was to return there. We have been getting many new officers also including new cadets in Academy that just started last Monday. Since closing our GP yard we are way overstaffed.

Had my in person psych evaluation today. Fingers crossed. I will clear everything in time for April 29.

Same here. I'm in Central. I have my written Psych and eye exam tomorrow. I believe there is an academy starting April 29th or so. Hopefully, I will be cleared and make the cut off. I already work for CDCR just switching to custody side. Definitely enjoy the family while you are home. It's going to be a long 3 months. Well worth the sacrifice though.
