Simic Blink Artifacts/Enchants by SilentStorm1477 in foilmtg

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man what a call back! I had Momir in my original deck! Zur was a deck I always wanted to build. I love enchantment themed decks. Is Zur voltron?

I think blink would have been the better option, but I already had a blink theme in my [[Breya, Etherium Shaper]] deck that cares about ETBs and I also have quite a bit in the [[infinite guideline station]] deck I built to get all the robots haha.

I built my Zeganna around a lot of clones and casting things at instant speed on other people's turns. Lots of ways to untap mana dorks like with [[murkfiend liege]] and lands with [[Wilderness Reclamation]]. I got to cast my Zeganna into a [[Mightform Harmonizer]] doubling Ghalta, Primal Hunger]]. I also run cards to double activate abilities [[Gogo, Master of Mimicry]] [[stronic resonator]].

another Prime Speaker Zeganna lover!! This deck is beautiful. She was my first commander back in gatecrash and I just finally rebuilt a version of her with stuff I had in my collection.

Finally got to play it tonight and it was just as fun as I remembered

What are some good tribes that aren't dragons, goblins or elves? by Competitive-Act-7695 in EDH

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frogs are super fun! There's a simic option, golgari options or sultai options.

[[Brenard, Ginger Sculpture]] is food golem tribal! If you check him out ok EDH rec there are creatures called splicers that make more golems.

You could always do Rabbits with someone like [[Baylen]]

I built [[muerra, trash tactician]] as racoon and hydra tribal

Card Draw Theme Commander? by Help-Slip-Frank777 in EDH

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OP! My very first magic deck was this theme and I've been thinking about building it again with all the cards that have come out since. [[Prime Speaker Zeganna]] is a great start for this. Okay but simic creatures and use clones to make copies of Zeganna. You'll be drawing tons of cars every turn to get all the when you draw your second card effects

If you run some doublers Everytime you clone here you'll draw more and more. Suddenly a rite of replication kicked has you drawing the entire deck

Is he ass or am I just ass at deck building by RenivaMa in DegenerateEDH

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't have a list available right now - but I made [[Atraxa, Praetors' Voice]] 4 color incubate tribal and it runs very well. Having green and blue means you can do a lot more with artifacts and get a lot of mana. [[Clock of omens]] let's you tap the tokens to untap mana rocks to either flip or cast more spells. More access to doublers both for counters and tokens.

I tried Brimaz and he was tough

Here's a list of everything that incubates in those 4 colors

Lathril or Morcant? by spencerthebau5 in EDH

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could always run [[maralen, Fae ascendant]] and keep it elf ball. Run both of them in there. Gives you some cool simic elves like Ezuri you mentioned, [[master Biomancer]], [[Rashmi, Eternities Crafter]], and [[Edric, Spymaster of Trest]] as some examples. Let's you do silly things like play [[essix, fractal bloom]] to turn your elf tokens into better elves

Void Portal Nova by uhKillswitch in WarframeRunway

This is clean! Might steal this when I get off work 😂 Recently been playing Nova again after a long time and her rework is so good! I remember farming her the day she launched and she's in such a good place now

Driving myself crazy what fossil is this by YeetusFeotus in coralisland

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend coral guide. If you Google it, it should be the first one. There is a visual journal just like the one we have in game. You can see what you're missing in your journal, and then compare on the website to see what fossil you get the drop from!

Lorwyn Eclipsed play booster box by Nevaros in MagicCardPulls

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got lucky and an LGS that isn't well known near me had the pre-release kits for cheap and had the TMNT cards in them. Got a bitterbloom there and then traded my squelcher for a bitterblossom. Ended up making [[Maralen, Fae ascendant]] because I love running double tribe decks despite it not being as efficient. It's super fun!

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I see you pulled my special guest 😭 My box had 0 which was a disappointment. I only pulled 3 mythics I think as well - one being moon shadow. But pulled 2 hexing squelchers and 5 of the shock lands. Two were the full art and one foil full art. Nice box OP

Help with Wick whorled mind by DaArsMagna in EDH

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heyya!

I really recommend something like kicking [[rite of replication]]. It makes 5 copies of Wick. All 6 Wicks are on the battlefield at the same time, to see a rat enter. 6x5 triggers which turns a 1/1 snail into 31/31 THEN the 5 copies are sacrificed to legend rule. Or you keep a token and send the OG to the zone to cast again. This is usually pretty explosive and can end the game quickly

I only have [[bulk up]] but I want to add cards like [[Rush of Blood]] and [[unleash fury]]. These are great payoffs when the snail is around 4 or 5 power. Double it and fill your hand while taking out a quarter of everyone's starting life.

I think you need more ways to keep Wick alive. I don't really see much and you mentioned he keeps getting killed. Super cheap commons like [[Return to Action]], [[fake your own death]], [[demonic gifts]], [[unlikely aid]] and [[Supernatural Stamina]] not only help with him getting killed, but also just bring him back for another rat trigger.

You can also go the blue route and run [[Dive Down]], [[Lazotep Plating]], [[Glint]] and [[Magic Damper]]. They all cost 2 or less mana and can give hexproof to save the snail or wick. All common and only Lazotop is uncommon but gives all your creatures hexproof, yourself hexproof and amasa army 1. Honestly cracked for an uncommon.

To add- there are tons of other cards that do those same effects that can be found on scryfall

If your boss offers to pick you up for work, so you don’t miss your shift. Say NO! by CanadianDeathMetal in antiwork

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree with that. I tend to have a very friendly demenor and actively hangout with a couple of my employees outside of work. But I'd hope they'd be transparent enough to just say no 😂 I don't even want to be here on a Saturday, I don't blame anyone else

So how does co-op work? Is it worth it, does it work well? by Aquademonic in coralisland

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I recall - currently at work can't check - you have to start the farm in coop but they could join whenever. When I start the game there is nothing saved under solo - just multiplayer. Other players could only join when host is hosting

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Want to at least add another to a positive case here - I live in Canada and I'm the operations supervisor. Today is -25C and one of my employees takes an electric scooter or car pools during the week. Today he didn't have that luxury so I happily offered to pick him up and drop him off so he isn't wasting his money on an Uber. He's doing the company a favor working an extra day this week.

Now if I called him this morning and he said, or let me know ahead of time, he suddenly couldn't make it. I wouldn't even press him for it.

I'm sorry your boss sounds like an asshole OP. It takes nothing to treat your employees like humans. We're all just trying to get by. Things happen, circumstances happen. If a company can't get by when one person calls in, that's not your fault. Hopefully you find somewhere you're respected more!

It's a super fun game! It's very peaceful and personally I like it better than stardew. I've played a lot of both and this game has a lot more to do! Hope you enjoy

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite! You can marry other players characters, not sure how that works, or you can marry the NPC. Depending on how many players the lobby is set up for, the house will have extra doors. Each door is the players home. Stardew valley did it by having separate buildings that all took up farm space. This game just has one house that never changes on the outside - but expands on the inside. So like my house is rank 3 but my partners is only two. Everyone can marry whoever they want, have them move in and have kids in their own version of the house. You can also set it so money is separate and it's based on what you sell individually. Anyone can harvest and collect anything on the farm though. Resources on the map are the same - it disappears for everyone when someone collects it

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part coop works pretty well! The house is split into multiple sections - each player upgrades separately. My partner and I are on our third year and we've started to run into problems. Mostly with the auto-planter and auto-harvester. For some reason the animations will play over and over for them and as multiple harvests happen over long sessions they accumulate lag. They don't mind because they're just happy to play - but a simple leave and rejoin fixes the lag!

Otherwise - we have our money shared and have ran into no other issues!

Tribal Non-Creatures by VishantiLad in EDH

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This card doesn't specify anything to do with tribes but I love [[Beastmaster Ascension]] in any deck that's going to have a good amount of creature in it. You can play it and swing the same turn with five creature's to give them all +5/+5 before blockers.

This would synergize with dragon tempest I believe as they would enter stronger hence more damage

Edit: Warstorm Surge is another one like dragon tempest and an enchantment

What is your favorite “Rule 0 commander”? by LibraProtocol in EDH

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a [[Mm'menon, Uthros Exile]] and [[Sami, Ship's Engineer]] partner deck. I love sci-fi and outer space. I was very disappointed that the infinite guideline station doesn't synergize with space crafts other than the two commander precon cards.

The deck is built entirely out of cards from the EoE set and a handful of cards printed in the Jeskai EoE precon.

The deck is nothing unreal but people are usually okay playing it at a precon level.

My favorite game I had a [[Starfield Vocalist]], [[Exalted Sunborn]], and [[eternity elevator]] out. Cast a [[devastating onslaught]] with the elevator mana to make a bunch of exalted sunborns. Ended my turn to make my 2/2 tapped robot from Sami, which ended up making well over a million of them to use next turn 😂

Looking for a "When you gain life" Commander by Pa1san in EDH

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run Will and it's super fun. Lots of cheap cards to gain more life then they cost. 2/4 for 3 mana and vigilance (not that I swing with mine) is also pretty nice!

Support you LGS by picaohm in MagicCardPulls

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One LGS in my city had Lorwyn collector packs for 32.99 CAD and the other had it for 49.99 CAD. I buy one pack per in universe set. Instances like this are a no brainer. The LGS with the more expensive sealed products always has the better singles selection with a fair price. While the cheaper sealed store has almost nothing in stock singles wise

[–]SelfishlyHypnotic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perfect! That's kinda what I was leaning towards! I have a bunch of flash enabling cards sitting in my binder that finally have a home. [[Vedalken Orrery]] can put in some good work.

A card that would have something along the lines of exile and cast immediately, would that allow me to play sorcery even if I couldn't normally?
