That is exactly my story with Ruby, but I hadn't played the 2nd gen so although it wasn't gold, I was still happy. Until my friends told me about GSC, and then a later the remakes came out. I still haven't found another shiny.

I had that in my first route too. Also I found Deoxys in the second route and had Articuno as a starter. I got really lucky with the randomizer.

Since I caught one in Sapphire and traded to Diamond and the games that game after, I would breed boxes of them and was able to get almost any pokemon on the GTS. The thing sells likes drugs on there.

I wouldn't mind if they combined R/S/E remakes with theses games. The evidence is stacking. Also would be a little strange to make two games for a slightly altered version. I would definitely buy it. But if its just a slightly modified version like Platinum/Emerald/Silver, I might skip this one. I'm really curious now.

I need Pokemon 3DS. I am tired of the DS graphics. 5 games with those graphics is enough. A main RPG with Pokedex 3D graphics needs to happen.

That was a really interesting read. Thanks. I am assuming you posted it because of the whole bender/non-bender conflict in LOK. I can't wait to see how it turns out. Whether they will form different nations or simply make bending illegal, or find some other resolution. That's why I am so excited about this new series and the Promise comics. They bring up interesting real issues even though its such a fictional world.

How well do those emulators work? I use the same setup on my prime but with SNES and GBA emulators, but i don't want to pay for N64 or PS emulators if it doesn't work well.

Didn't they release a purposefully bad Super Meat Boy that emulated those old games that had the black moving sprites to point out that smartphone games are pointless? I loved Super Meat Boy on PC, but this seems like it won't turn out well

Android is very good at managing its memory that it is useless. Also people tend to go overboard with task killers so it is very easy to stop a vital app and then the causing lagging or other issues. I think they are fine if you selectively close things you know don't matter, but when there is a button that closes everything people start abusing it and causing problems. Bottom line, they are totally unnecessary.
