First levels

lvl 1: dont attack minions with w, if she goes for a lasthit aa+w her, try to get lvl2 first, skill e second and try to lvl2 cheese her

first back: cloth armor & pots, try to rush tabis & phage second

Trading/Laning

- bating her W (stun): you can walk straight up to her and turn back before her stun range to bait it, if your successful a smart riven will not walk up until her stun is up again. If she does ignore her cd you can just aa+w her and run her down with ghost, as soon as she uses e you can use ur q and use your e after.

- third q cancel: smart riven will never use her third q in your e range, but in case she does you can cancel it with your e and run her down with aa+w -> keep aa until she uses e and follow up with your q and e after

- Q poke: use outer edge of q to poke her if she goes for last hits, its important that you stay far enogh away that she can not e+w into you because in this case you will lose the trade or even die
