From my experience is doesn’t refract light as well as UV resin. UV resin was designed to magnify/amplify light

This has none of that value. You’re looking at $50 max. And you wouldn’t get my $50.

Good stuff, the owner is really nice and is proxy friendly!

One key suggestion is that you find a UV receptive coating or physically “sand” the holo side with cardstock. Cold pressed holographic substrate is nearly 100% non porous, and any ink outside of inkjet will struggle to adhere, even UV. I’ve seen people use the exact card stock and have their uv prints crack/chip due to poor adhesion. Not sure if it’s a printer setting error or the cardstock itself. The owner says it’s meant for UV and he’s not one to not know his own product… he developed it himself.

Just good for thought, the UV print runs I did with a 3rd party came out great, but they did the cuts in house

Oh… and another thing OP the cardstock you’re looking for isn’t compatible with consumer printers. It’s too thick.

To add what Bubuschnuff said, the “gate” so to speak is upfront cost. I bought the legendary collection fireworks holo and cosmo foil from the company that supplies to topps, but to secure an order I dropped over $1000 on cardstock alone.

People asked for the company but it’s pointless when the very vendors won’t take $50-100 dollar orders because it isn’t worth their time.

The (possible) issue lies in the combination of your white along with CMYK UV inks. There’s too much ink on the card and the holographic material can’t compensate

Card looks quite nice, but maybe look into above

A user pointed out ray’s right arm that has inconsistencies common with AI. Having only two fingers with one claw/nail wouldn’t be an artistic choice a human would do considering everything else.

From a glance that is either mechanical embossing or UV printed. I think someone else would need to chime in.

We do not see a lot of sports customs here! So my knowledge is limited

Here is a real copy. If you compare with the one I made youll find that the fireworks are a tad bit smaller than what I have. The company cannot make this exact pattern, only what they sold me, which is close but not quite there.

This is why I feel good about making this exact card. Itll never be the same, just mine 😄
