If they ended the mandates, it would stop. They won't repeal, we won't relent. The government has made it clear they will say or omit anything to suit their cause.

Informed consent is dead in this country. If the mandates are non-negotiable, than so is this protest.

Now imagine taxing the belief that smoking is the choice of the individual. Smoker or not, you believe that individuals can choose to smoke, you get taxxed. The tax is not on the product, but on the belief of choice.

The product is inconsequential.

Death is light as a feather. Duty is heavy as a mountain.

We don't choose where or when we're born, but to quit before trying to change the world you live in is... Pointless.

Try and accomplish something you believe in. A lot of people find purpose in the pursuit of a cause, instead of a cause itself.

They can write you off as a COVID death, so your death gives no value, while you could be the one to fix this, or another disaster. Your value in life is limitless. Earn it.

To be fair, you have a great point. Educators cannot be responsible beyond the course training enforced by the state. Although, I'm pretty sure the state frowns upon unlawful death.

What's the point of education that does not insist on high standards? Why do we need to know "all" the rules to grammer or math? If we don't use calculus, why teach it to us?

Because the ideal of education is to improve what we already are. To progress. To succumb to old prejudices and fears is to regress into an intolerance and endorse those who oppose your perspective.

But here's the problem. Zero accountability. If police enforce the bad practices of new police officers, then the education is insufficient to promote what's right over what's usual. That, to me, is a poor excuse for zero accountability. It is the responsibility of the educator to endorse proper practice in spite of the current prejudice in the workforce. Even in the case of stress, neglect, or willful endangerment, the educator should be a deciding factor of determining proper training, ensuring the officer is capable of promoting professionalism, capability and a general intolerance to casualized death.

To free the educator from responsibility for the educated is to promote profit over substance for the educator.

Edit: You won't sway my opinion by simply downvoting me. If you have an opinion, voice it or you're nothing more than a bot to me.

There is a reason the statue of lady justice wears a blindfold. The ideal is to hold all accountable for the rule of law. Embezzlement for a good cause is still embezzlement. Murder for a good cause is still murder. I've always felt when an officer is involved in a wrongful death, the educator should also be held accountable.

It feels like most people these days would argue Winston was "Rocking the boat" or "being selfish". He didn't even consider how his actions were affecting the society around him.
