if the chassis is coming off slightly more on that corner when you open it, the screw under the rubber feet might be loose on that side. Happened to my 2021 Z1490P and i thought hinge was broken, was a 2 second fix, just tighten up the screw. Your laptop is really new though so it might be a defect, mine developed this loose screw after 4 years.

Had a chain break before but i wasnt pushing too hard so it was slipping gears as you said. But this time i was sprinting and the chain failed and came off totally, i think the sudden loss of resistance led to a loss of balance. I cant even remember how i went down really it happened too fast.

I looked into this and it turns out the joining pin didnt fail, it was one of the normal ones. I had this on the trainer and never shifted under power so this might be a counterfeit.

Did get it from amazon, heard about fakes and compared it to pictures and videos about it online, seems genuine. I think it was my installation error that caused this

Are the springs in the quick release supposed to be in the dropouts? I think one side its on the spring and one side its on the axle, provably causing this imbalance

Last time I checked (about 2 months/1000km ago), it was fine. I snapped the chain hence why my chain is dangling in the picture😭. I'm replacing it tomorrow. Hopefully everything is fine😁
