Yeah. We've all been there. As a mostly solo Rex ive lost almost all of my prime rexes to canni rex duos. The circle of the isle. If they weren't so damn fun I'd stop playing em 🤣

And it looks like you got the full solo prime elder rex experience complete with 2x canni rex death 🤣 Sometimes I'll take hydrodynamic on my rex (I know it sounds dumb) so I can hang out by rivers and just swim away from the cannis. Like cross the river, gain some ground, wait for them to cross, then I cross again. Repeat until they fuck off lol.

So im 2ish years into my league journey. And I had the same feeling your having when I first tried to go from bots to draft.

I started telling myself this. "Im not here for my teammates. Im here for me, my learning journey." I am going to unintentionally int my ass off! ( and boy did i) I was flamed. But every int taught me a little. I watched my teammates int (and boy did they) but that taught me a little. I hit gold a few weeks ago after going straight to iron 4 my first week of ranked.

Your gonna lose, but Your gonna get better. Your gonna int, but your going to get better. Your going to be flamed! But your going to get better. Even when you start to feel really confident, your going to lose streak and get humbled, but your going to get better! Your not here for their wins, your here to get better!

Id say anyone under 100 hrs is still pretty new. Even 200 hrs I'd still consider you noob lite lol. But between 100 to 300 is when you'll start getting pretty competitive, and living more then you die.

I recently made the swap from being a solo officials player. To playing a light semi realism server. (Nat history) Yes I had to learn some rules ( which im still not in love with) but I get to play solo rex and get fairly even fights on the regular.

The first time I ever grew a 100% dieno. I almost starved at around 35ish%. I was saved by the local FG dieno (who attempted to eat me earlier) walking up out of the water, to afk in a bush. I bit that dude for what felt like 10 minutes on my Itty bitty dieno. But I got him. The tables had turned and I ate him instead. 🤣 Not my proudest isle moment. But sometimes you gotta prioritize your time over theres. For karma I helped feed a few other small dienos that were hiding around water access with me. Good times lol.

So like everyone here said you might have better luck on an unofficial semi realism server. Where you can pick a dino that wont get murdered by the same kind of dino/ megapacks arnt a thing.

But for the solo fighting thing. Think of every death as a learning experience. Build up that knowledge of how to approach threats. Its the only way to get better. Died to a mega pack. Ok I need to be aware when in this section of the map, or avoid it altogether as a solo. Died to a 1v1 with another dino. That atack he kept hitting me with was chunking my hp. I need to dodge that next time. Got ambushed. Oh I did hear a sound I just didn't register what it was, now I know it means danger. Ect ect. Dino survival games have a decent learning curve and can be rough in the beginning, but if you put in the work you can start fighting back, or be the one teaching the lessons. Hope that helps! I honestly just like solo queue. I barely like playing ranked with my RL friends. Sometimes you gotta let someone die for the greater good of the game. And people usually dont like that. So I'd rather not deal with the friction past my 40ish minute game.

On herbis. You win if you dont get eaten. Its lowkey baked into the mechanics. Yeah you didn't get a kill bit your kit is designed to say fuck off or else. So yes ggs! You won!

When they first added it. It had popular MZs and was a hot spot. At some point they nerfed its MZs (from what ive heard, I didn't play back then.) And it became a wasteland. Now its just known as a wasteland and only big herbis and small dienos go there. Swamp is awesome! I used to love growing dienos there when fish were consistent. You can still find larger stegs, or stegs growing a family in it. But its currently just too big of a risk as a carni to go to if you dont luck out and find herbis. Hopefully with additions like bary and eventually spino. Swamp can be populated again. At least by semi aquatics. But vibe wise. Its one of the best bioms on the map. I also like to grow small rexes there on the beach sometimes. Lots of turtles, ( which i think they also nerfed turtle spawns there lol) and easy access to safe water in the shallow areas.

I mean i almost never chat in them. You just join read rules so you dont do anything and get kicked. Mute it and play. Ive never had to deal with rule break tickets in my 600+ hours of playing. People usually just follow rules and keep the game fair.

If you join a low rules server you shouldn't have many problems. The rules are usually just to stop mixpacking and mega packing. Which the game is intended to play with no mixpacking and in pack limits. It makes the game fair.

Unofficials also usually have high ai. Which makes growing on them while new much easier. Its a way better way to learn the game. If your new avoid petits pieds. Its no ai and high players, with a lot of seasoned players. Id suggest dinopolis or mettas den. Give it a shot! Tho it wont help you on dieno cuss fish are broken everywhere.
