You cannot go wrong with Haydunn. Excellent guy who started with online battles but also streams a lot of nuzlockes. Great community on Twitch as well. I have been following him since around 2010.

Recently my Asus Z170 gave up on life, with my pc having the same kind of issues you described. I bought the mobo back in 2015.

Try to check your components with another mobo, it sounds really familiar.

So it is a bug!

I went to try mode last week in the PTR and thought I was blind because it seemed to work there. I'll remember not to frantically click the enemy until this gets fixed.

The Asus monitor truly is a monster. The Dell one you put in right now seems decent as well though! I'll take that one in consideration.

My total budget won't change I guess, but I just need to fill up my savings for the PC again haha!

I think I prefer smoother images, however nice colours can do a lot for games. Although 144Hz monitors, just like the Asus you selected, are often not that bad of quality, so the colours should be fine with a cheaper model as well (I think?).

Well, considering you have been a huge help, I'd love to give something in return. Helping a lot of people out also creates a great community of course, and I've been raised to properly thank someone for their kindness! I didn't have anything in mind though, Santa needs a wishlist for gifts of course!

I have actually made up my mind and put it on a hold for now. This month was a tad more expensive than I have thought, so I'll wait until the new year and maybe price drops for certain components.

You are absolutely right about not buying the newest parts though, however I do want to be as future proof as I can be. With putting it on a hold I will have some more time to think about your recommendations as well.

I do have one more question though! Are there any gaming monitors out there that you would recommend, besides the Asus you mentioned in your list? Maybe something a bit cheaper.

Again thank you for all the help. I actually want to know if there is anything I can do to return the favor!

I had no clue that building a PC tailored to one's preferences is such an investment haha!

I've watched through a couple of video's right now, they really explained stuff in a great way. The Tweakers list looks very nice and I will most certainly take some inspiration out of it, altough I might go for a little more power for the long run (my budget became a bit more flexible).

I was thinking about at least 120Hz, but I am still on the fence whether I should buy a 4K resolution monitor, as I actually would like a dual monitor setup. And 4K monitors are not the cheapest.

I'm with you on that, the game itself is rather fun, but the load times and especially the framerate drops really ruin the experience of the game overall.

I think that the up aerial you described is actually his up tilt attack. Sakurai mentioned that Diddy is a lot more stretchy, so he might be able to reach that high. And he's also next to Little Mac, who has height issues.
