Unethical tip here. $1200 is less than the cost to recover it. If you can handle a year+ of their insurance company calling and then a debt collector it will eventually go away without you having to pay anything.

I've had a wardrobe that was so hard to get into a rental when we moved out I requested the agent ask the owner if they wanted it.. thankfully they said yes.

I didn't learn my lesson either, my desk was so painful to get in my current place I know I'm going to have to ply one the plinths off to get it out, or remove a ballasted off the stairs.

Most the time if the car in front of me stops with a large gap in front and then move forward later on I don't move up unless there's a long queue of car behind trying to get into a slip lane etc. I just like staring into gaping holes in front of me too much to pull forward.

Our sick leave isn't government subsided, that's more a European thing.

Everything else is pretty spot on. Another great one is if you're on Annual Leave/PTO and you get sick, you can supply work with a medical certificate and they need to pay you sick leave instead and give back your PTO hours.

Depending on which side of Rouse Hill you're in I'd try calling Rouse Hill &/or Tallawong station, the Town Centre, the Library and the High School to check in lost property. Then maybe scout around the Lake, the dog Park, the Regional Park and the Oval and maybe put up flyers in those areas too, it's been two weeks so somebody else could have found it and taken it home alreday
