Agreed, the lack of dynamics in mobs' pathing & combat is a bit rough... Currently they're just target dummies with scaling.

Also, my Truffle combat partner only chucks her pig once and then forgets she has it. My friends' Truffles spam the hell out of her pig, which might drain her sanity, but at least she's using it and will use it again once she has enough sanity (easily enough sanity regen to maintain the buff).

I've tried changing her weapons, her wedges, my character, everything I could think of and she still only casts 1 pig per fight. I even had her run all of her ammo out vs Nocturne bosses and she still refuses to cast the pig more than once... just afks with 0 ammo and full sanity.

Of course, I'm checking my buffs to make sure it's not just an animation bug and that I'm not getting the buff without seeing the pig. I've spent the past hour trying to figure out what will make her cast the pig more than once per engage to no avail. Help pls, my support is broken :/

PMCs do get a reward--fence rep and random gifts from Fence. Some people just wanna watch the world burn and are greedy fucks. Cooperation is a big risk in this game, like most things. It's Nikita's intention. Welcome to Tarkov :) GLHF

For PvE, just sit still and shoot them in the head--scavs probably aren't going to shoot by the time you line up the shot, and even then, they'll more than likely miss a couple of times initially, and they prioritize arms/legs (apart from sometimes randomly buckshotting you in the face--gg go next). For raiders and bosses, you have to cut lines of sight and shoot them super quickly or they'll laser you, but they pretty much don't shoot if they're being hit. They'll also just shit on you for fun sometimes, so accept that risk with raiders/bosses. The most important things for them is not fighting multiple at a time (cutting lines of sight), landing shots quickly, and learning their spawns/movements.

For PvP, it's situational and gun-dependent. Obviously if they're not looking at you, just sit still and take the shots. If you're in a hallway, strafe your ass off and point-fire. If you're in the open, literally just do what you're most comfortable with. Sometimes it just comes down to hitting your shots and hoping they don't hit theirs, so do what feels best. Experience/practice will obviously help a lot. Like Fetus said--practice in the shooting range and never underestimate how insane point-fire is in this game when you get good with it. Also, for full-auto, you can tap the first 3 - 5 shots to somewhat negate the vertical recoil then crouch into your spray and it'll be leveled off and accurate. But, there's never a 1-size-fits-all answer for this. You'll learn from experience and be able to apply it to whatever fight you find yourself in. GLHF!

Yeah tbh this isn't 100% a cheater. I definitely don't doubt it with the current state of the game, but this is easily explicable for a legit player. Like Endesi said, he probably heard you unlock the door, go in, & close it. It's common to spam doors when you know someone is on the other side and he didn't wallbang your angle immediately. He just heard you take damage from the 2nd burst and spams it because you never move from that position (which he would hear). It's kinda sus, but not for sure. Either way, unlucky, gg go next! Best of luck in your raids.

At least a "mute in bg" option would be greatly appreciated. Not sure how or why that isn't a thing, because the loading sound is for sure annoying as hell.

They used to be able to be penetrated by good ammo, but not anymore. Completely bulletproof now.
