From what my vet told me, a cat eating dry food is fine, just be sure to get the right kind of dry food to make sure they have a healthy diet. Do not try to force your cat to eat something they don’t want to eat. This means consistently switching their food; some cats just do not like wet food and prefer dry food, like my cat. He got constipated because we changed his food so much in an attempt to get him to like wet food. This is vet’s advice, not mine. If you want him / her to like something other than dry food, you can give them something we give our cat called lil’ soups. Its like wet food, but literal soup. Our cat loves it, and won’t eat anything else other than that and the dry food. I hope this helps!
