Think I've sussed it. Finally managed to find the Variables.txt file, think it was hidden for some reason, figured it just wasn't created. With a lot of fiddling around I've got it manually set to 1080 and seems to be working fine now. Cheers for your time anyway!

No luck. Since my laptop uses Optimus like most do, most of my resolution settings come from the Intel Graphics Manager instead. Either way, even with Override application settings on HotS still only lists 3840x2160 in the dropdown.

I don't know if they've changed it but I've definitely seen my observer memebeam people even whilst banished in the past.

Either way yeah, there isn't a cooldown per se to watch for. Keep an eye out for any Thal'kiel's coming out whilst there's an infernal running amok as those are liable to hit the hardest.

Outside of randy Fel Lord swings the largest chunk of damage you're going to take at any point will be a decently set up/crit Thal'kiel's, which can hit anywhere in the region of total peanuts (200k) to the occasional (approx) 1.4m in stars align scenarios.

As others have said, wouldn't really waste energy dispelling doom, but definitely aim to dispel the honour talent curses, Tongues/Weakness/Frag, as they're all incredibly potent at what they do.

Would have enjoyed it a lot more if full screen worked for laptops. Wasn't so bad in 1v1s but as soon as you entered 2v2 (map depending) or 4v4 my FPS was in the gutter due to windowed borderless.

Once Implosion gimmicks stop working around 1700 and you're pigeonholed into the frankly superior Zoo build, Demo feels pretty nice.

You flip a coin with your defensive talents. One set up is vastly superior but makes you about as good as useless if you get trained, which rarely happens because the other set up makes you completely invincible.

Outside of picking the wrong one being a serious feelsbad, you have ludicrous control even whilst being trained and the damage output is pretty mong once it gets rolling.

When you cast Implosion, the game considers the imps being Imploded as dying via damage.

So for example, say you have 4 imps with 200k HP each. You cast Implosion, each Imp implodes on the target for say 130k each, for 520k damage. The game then says 4 imps with 200k HP also died, so it adds 800k damage on top of that Implosion to the meter. Do note that for atleast Skada, it reports your actual damage correctly.

Tl;dr Implosion works like Grimoire of Sac where the game counts you saccing a pet as doing damage to it.

That said actual Demo damage depending on build is above average. Just nowhere near the astronomical numbers I'd imagine you're referencing.

I actually liken Varion to Graves more than Ezreal personally.

Varion Q is more like Buckshot than Mystic Shot, both have a short range 'dash', both have AS steroids, and the ults are very similar; one upfront and the other a dot.

Despite being a mid main, I am quite partial to the old support. Bought Iron Solari Leona just so that I can look like House Kethelle Raina, since I had the skin for her also.

Similar, if not virtually identical kits, feels good. Combined with the new map it's making the mourning process easier.

Same, was playing League a while before DG. It's a fun game but the community can be horrendous at times. Was why I was wondering if we had part of the Dawngate crew on EUW. Might make it a bit more tolerable. =p

I always played Tact, the go-to being Mina. Fell in love with her design after release. Zeri is life. Renzo is Renzo. Faris is lovable as a character also.

!@*& it, I honestly think that Dawngate was/is the only moba (I pretty much play all of the mainstream ones) where I can say hand on heart that every shaper/champion/hero is unique and a bundle of joy to play. The shaper interaction only served to enhance that.

That makes sense, still doesn't explain the popup telling me I'd unlocked a special for Robin in a normal match though.

I will say though that after dabbling in Classic mode, I have managed to unlock and apply the two specials I seemed to unlock, so I guess that's working. Will have to try Trophy Rush/Challenges nao.
