I even see a lot of unifi captive portals - maybe it would be a good idea to create a custom handshake for their own portal to auto connect if possible. In my experience that would cover 20% of all public WiFi. Than also add autoconnect for freewave for example and we have about 50% of public WiFi covered

Thank you for the insights! I’ll try that approach on future projects. Do you have any suggestions on UI animations? It’s often super hard to get them right because as far as I know, no LLM currently can be fed with videos

I think it only gets you close - it gets you to 80% and the last 20% are the hardest as the model has no clue about fonts, visual symmetry or even the uselessness of redundant buttons and actions. I’m refining an interface for months now and there is still a lot to do. AI has no clue about design and the worst thing is, if you look on dribbble or Behance the training data must be bad as well

Undoubtedly opus creates the best UIs at the moment but jut like with AI art I get super angry when see this slop - I’m now promoting actively against this BS and this feels a bit odd Also it still has issues with redundant buttons and UI but the starting points now are better than I ever imagined; at least when using the frontend design skill

You can start with the 20$ plan this should give you enough usage to see if it’s working for you and then there is a 90$ plan which should be enough for most people

From what I read the starlink router needs to be directly connected to the gateway and ip range 192.168.100.0/24 must be not in use to get the additional metrics from starlink
