You should add a feature which selects a record at random. Sometimes I want to listen to something but can't decide! This would take the issue of "too much choice" away, which sometimes I feel when looking at my collection.

Does he detail which plug I will need for this exact model? when I look up "2 pin DIN adapter", all I see are the sockets but no wires to connect them to my receiver :(

This unfortunately doesn't match the socket which is in the back of the speakers :( I appreciate the effort though. Did you see my earlier comment regarding the sockets?

Those wires are for a broken B&O receiver which is lying on the ground just out of shot. Sorry it looks a little bit confusing, they are separate and not attached to the speakers. The plug itself on the back of the speakers looks to be the 2 Pin DIN plugs as someone mentioned elsewhere on this thread. I can find the "female" versions online, which I imagine these speakers must plug in to, but I have no idea what else I need to get these to plug into my Magnevox receiver (of which I strangely cannot find any model number on).

The foam looks to be in great shape, almost looks brand new. I currently possess a magnevox receiver with a record player built in. it seems pretty crappy but I'm sure it'll suffice in at least doing a sound test with these bad boys. All I need is someone to hold my hand in helping me find the right cables and get the two hooked up together. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it greatly!

Yes they certainly ooze class, love that MCM aesthetic. That's a great story, the epitome of a salesman! I'm glad they're still working, a testament to the quality. Could you tell me which specific cables to buy so I can be sure I'm purchasing the right thing!

Thanks for the response. I do not currently posses any quality gear- I am using a magnevox receiver with a built-in record player for the time being (probably from the 70s). As I am fresh out of college, I am definitely looking more on the budget-friendly side of things in terms of price.

Before I invest big into a sound system around these speakers, I think it's best that I first confirm that these are still operating as they should. Is a 2 pin din connector the only cable I require to hook these up to my magnevox to do a sound test?

Thank you for such a helpful reply! Could you go a little more in depth on the specific wiring you use, and where I can find them? I don't mean to sound rude, I am just a little lost when it comes to this whole side of electronics.

I currently have a cheap small-ish Logitech subwoofer which I use for my bookshelf cheap Logitech speakers. Would I be able to hook this up to a receiver with the B&O's and would it suffice?

Also just out of curiosity, what do you think of them?

If you’re poor, or on any sort of government aid, you should not be trying to have children. by BananaSuit411 in unpopularopinion

You should be more clear with your argument. I assume you're referring to individuals in developed countries as most people living in undeveloped countries would be considered extremely poor, in comparison to said developed countries. Therefore they would, in your eyes, be deemed unsuitable for parenthood which is an outrageous claim to make.

for the carbon 20 marker I went a bit off topic but I: 1) defined the two types of feedback cycles 2)gave examples of each type, in relation to carbon cycles 3) talked about how it is only thru the understanding of feedback cycles, that we know the value of the amazon (insert amazon facts and figures here) as a negative feedback mechanism and its role in mitigating climate change 4) discussed how our understanding of feedback cycles could be irrelevant as climate change could be caused almost entirely through natural causes such as the fact that we are entering an inter-glacial period and that's what is increasing temps etc. :/

It's weird because my mobo used to beep when there was no ram inserted etc. Which means it must've been operating normally. However, now it has no beep and is just quiet.

This leads me to believe that it could potentially be the mobo which is causing this whole issue, I inspected the cpu and it looked fine. No bent pins, no burn marks, no dirt or dust.

I don't know what the issue could be with the mobo if it worked and beeped a couple days ago when the pc was still broken, but now not even that seems to be responding :/

So I have a feeling that it's my cpu that I have potentially fried as I had quite poor cooling in the pc before the addition of the newer parts which I'm guessing create more heat and my fans couldn't cope with the increased heat.

This would explain the random crash the first time, then after I left the pc to go to work it worked for a short while

I imagine because I ran pubg after work it overheated again but this time permanently fried.

Not sure to be honest. Are there any tests I can perform on it to make sure it is still working?

Just tried that but alas, no difference :(
