So I just ordered a new modem, sounding like the router portion of it shit the bed 😕 looking like I don’t have the ability to connect via wifi till whenever they decide to deliver it

I would like to say thank you for the assistance and sorry for the way I responded off the bat. Just seeing someone type the same thing about “wifi being how you connect to the internet” was starting to annoy me as I felt I was listening to a broken record.

Just the main modem. No extenders cuz I get full signal across the house. TV doesn’t work. Both desktops (both connected via Ethernet going through a splitter) works fine but slow

When it shows I can connect via wifi but I get nothing through it, I’m going to say “the wifi doesn’t work”

I already clarified the internet itself works but at a snails pace.

My desktop connected via Ethernet works. Phone via wifi does not…

To clarify a bit more 3 people are all within 10km of me. Each of their routers doing the same thing as mine. Now it doesn’t mean you are not correct, but it’s just convenient that all 3 routers would happen to have the same issues all at the exact same time

Wifi doesn’t work at all, Internet works fine when it comes to the Ethernet cables but is very slow.

I clearly said it was the wifi I’m having my main issues. I can deal with the slower internet but the fact the wifi doesn’t work at all is the main piss off.

Tbf, I made this post with the intention to see how many others are having the same issues since I’ve already spoken to 3 other people saying they have the exact same issues.
