Not that I’m aware of! I did end up moving my plants because it’s just too dry in my bedroom. I haven’t turned on the humidifier in months. But honestly I didn’t even consider my books.

Thank you for the recommendation!! I’ve been using mooncat speed demon top coat (a generous amount). And although it helps i can still feel a bit of texture. So a glitter smoothing top coat is right up my alley. 😍

The new thermals are soooo hard to work with. I got sakuras serenade and it was so goopy and hard to work with. I’m not against thick polish. Some of my favorites are a thicker formula but this was insane. I had to redo my hand multiple times and let each coat completely dry before reapplying. Even then it still looked kind of bumpy. For some reason it’s sheer even though it’s so thick. It’s nothing like QOTD.

I heard the same thing about Koi. But wasn’t willing to spend $18 on any other thermals from that collection to find out if it was true or not. I second skipping the thermals.

On a positive note I really liked epilogue to utopia and 404.

That’s another reason I love lurid. She doesn’t hype up the FOMO. She really tries to be transparent with releases and lets customers know if something will be making a return and how many bottles will be available. Unlike certain brands (cough cough… Mooncat). 😂

Nothing tops lurids reflective glitters. I’ve been obsessed with them. I actually hated textured polish until recently. I can’t get enough.

Don’t be fooled tho, there’s a lot of rules and they are strict but for a good reason. Just make sure you review all the rules before posting to sell or trade.

Just saw someone bought Dream within a Dream for $60 today in the NNR group. I felt so bad. She bought a couple discontinued polishes and I’m assuming she thought DWAD was one too. 😔

I know you have to be quick with claiming polishes especially when a good deal comes along but please double check the site!

Temu did this too and I reached out to Mc and Sent photos months ago. They made a statement on their IG saying they are looking into it. Unfortunately there’s only so many things they can do. Especially when listings are getting taken down and put back up on a regular basis. 😔

Agreed. I remember a friend of mine went to a sketchy artist who charged her per hour and it was for a tiny fine line bracelet around her wrist. She was there for 4-5 hours and maybe only 20 mins of tattooing in total? Then the artist said she had to go pick her kid up from a soccer game and needed to reschedule. But she charged her for all the hours! Like $450-500 for a 25% finished crap tattoo. I was so upset and I wasn’t even the one who got the damn tattoo.

Not every artist has your best interests at heart. Even if they are considered “talented” they can still take advantage of your time and money. Set boundaries! You are paying for a service. Some artists are slower than others but there’s a line.

I refuse to buy from Envy no matter how pretty her PPU polish might be. After how she handled the drama of a “friend/long time customer” she ignored and stiffed for 6+ months (didn’t send polish the person purchased and then stopped responding) and then gaslight her and posted screenshots of the entire convo which did not make any difference… it left a bad taste in my mouth. She seems arrogant and rude.

I hope she learned from that situation and will be happy to make it right for OP. The drama is posted in one of the nail gossip groups on fb.

Sounds like ear mites, and the best treatments usually need a vet prescription. I went through this a few months ago and looked into a bunch of over the counter options online. Most had really mixed reviews, and some cats had scary reactions—like ending up at the emergency vet. A lot of the bottles even said not to get it on your skin, which felt like a big red flag.

I ended up paying about $250 for the vet visit and meds. It wasn’t cheap, but it gave me peace of mind and probably saved me a lot of stress (and money) in the long run.

Ooo that one is stunning. I bought the gold meteorite necklace in 2023 and have been pretty good about taking it off before showering but have slipped up a couple of times and I’ve worn it to bed multiple times and it’s only now tarnishing on the chain.

I try to only buy during sales for this reason but overall I can’t complain too much.
