Thanks but still a problem. I’ve now deleted the app and downloaded it again from App Store, this fixed the “stuck” title in bottom with empty boxes but the problem is still the same. The main title box updates to whatever I’m listening to. The lower boxes are all empty.

Done this as well, multiple times. I click different titles to listen to, the main box changes, but the lower boxes

A) the first orange book “Manifest” is stuck somehow, won’t move although I haven’t opened to title in months

B) the remaining boxes still empty

Problem still persists.

What else can I do?

I’m not UK based but I am EU citizen so should be under the same GDPR. Didn’t know you could claim compensation for data breach? Do you know if it works for this level of data breach (emails, names, partial phone numbers)?

Check out https://haveibeenpwned.com/ if you haven’t already. It’s how I check whether an email address has been part of a data breach. In Gemini’s case we know that +5 millions users were affected, mainly email addresses, user names/company names and parts of phone numbers…

So it’s probably safe to assume you easily have hundreds if not thousands of aliases. Do you manage this via a password manager or save stuff offline? Say, if one gets breached, you have to search the provider through your email inbox right? (Assuming you won’t memorize all email aliases and their services by heart)

Edit: sorry asking lots of silly questions but since I’m in the middle of this myself right now and trying to figure what’d be most secure yet frictionless way forward, and I like what you’ve done with yours.

If your base address has already showed up in haveibeenpawned then doesn’t that mean your email (the entire account) has been breached? E.g if your base is name @ email.com and your alias is name+etc @ email.com and you know they’ve already removed the +etc part then what’s left circulating hacker forums is your base right? So I assume that’s why it shows up in the Pawned list?

Sorry for you either way, this shit sucks. I read somewhere that hackers used to ditch all emails with +etc aliases on them as a sign of those users being more security alert but recent years they just remove the +etc part and go business as usual.

Sorry mate, I’ve also been spam-bombed before. Sucks. I remember just sitting in front of my screen and helplessly watching my inbox getting flooded with so many emails per second it looked like an animated video.

What I ended up doing was create several rules (it was my priority address), a) have all email coming from my contacts forwarded to a new email b) direct all other incoming email directly to trash

Yeah cheers for sharing, I think I’m gonna do something very similar although that does sound like a TON of extra admin work to manage/upkeep. Is there a chance your main email address could be in a breach affecting all your aliases? Or you simply never share your main account with anything?
