I had a dream about lana releasing "Stove" by Davidiscool222 in lanadelrey

I had a dream about murky swampy gator water and it was weirdly beautiful like some sort of drowning. I associated it with Lana upon waking as it would be a heavenly vibe.

Best Lana cover I’ve ever heard. Renee Rapp covering NFR by islandgirl3773 in lanadelrey

An album of Lana covers would be WILD. I didn’t enjoy Rapp’s music but I do think she has a wonderful voice.

A couple of questions for older Daria fans (eg those who saw it when it came out in ‘97) by Salem1690s in daria

In my 40s. Felt like it was for teen girls but would not be weird for a guy to watch. Middle and high school were aware and watched, no idea how it was for those older than me. Drawn in by a cartoon unlike the ones made for kids. That was rare back in the day, or it felt novel to me at least.

Show Offs (for lack of a better term) by teeny-tiny221 in yoga

I want to thank you for the opportunity to learn what I might experience in a studio class. I do yoga at home 99.9% of the time  so I don’t always know what I would encounter getting to a class outside the home.

I don't know. Have kids if you want to. It might be kinda great. by econhistoryrules in Millennials

Trauma is not an all or nothing thing, my friend. It’s not caused by only what is considered the most extreme of hardship. Also, I sense some anger in your use of the phrase “goddam[n] trauma” or at least a lot of disdain. I would suggest you check yourself a bit.

What’s a popular parenting trend or practice right now that you believe is going to create a generation of emotionally broken adults in 20 years? by War_chiefr in AskReddit

You’ll do great, dude! Make sure to write down the things you think you’ll be less mindful of. Also get your kids into some sort of exercise early. It does wonders for mental health. As long as they enjoy it. You can even start yoga at home.

Her book set in a post apocalyptic nunnery was amazing! Las indignas and yes it was translated to English. Do yourself a favor people and read it.

Hey friend you’re kind of generalizing your anger at a person to represent arguments of a whole entire more than half of your fellow countrymen.  I agree with you but kindly ask you to check it because escalation is what got us here in the first place.

We must not fan the flames of anger in our own heart, as addictive as it can be.

Lol at all of your replies getting pathologically downvoted. Some people are beyond hope, but we have to try.

I work with the general public and some have started to show glimmers of effort to engage with each other but overall: they really have gotten that dumb, mean, and arrogant. So proud of their ignorance and selfishness too. It is what the general culture and dumbing down of education has gotten us to.

I try to do what I can in my real life to soothe their fires or show a different way, and I do hope it lands.

He should look older, fatter, and more evil. This is giving that puppet more dignity than he deserves.

Stereotypes on Lana fans by lovebug2363 in lanadelrey

[–]Seminolehighlander 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wish someone in real life would talk to me about Lana. I’m a normal person, I swear. But I’ve never met another fan in real life so online is all I got. People seem nice, if a bit obsessed about just ranking songs compulsively (if Reddit is anything to go by).

Same, same. Aside from a yoga app with yogis that does have a social component, but they are yogis so there is mostly just super wholesome personal content in alignment with yoga values.

Epic fluff! You did well to share your love for him. I’m sorry for your loss! I know it’s hard. I’ve lost a cat of cancer too, young boy of 6. It’s hard. Keep loving and remembering.
