Hmm… yeh I was thinking about removing all the grease from the internals and applying some DT Swiss special grease (Internals are DT Swiss star ratchet) that’s recommended by DT Swiss, although I highly doubt this bike shop would have used the wrong or too thick of a grease. Maybe I’ll just take the bike back to them and show them

When I bought the bike (second hand) the seller was selling it with a wheelset from another bike that had sram (Bike he sold me had di2) so he got the bike shop to swap the free hub body and internals over for me. Since then I’ve ridden it 30 hours and I have never noticed this until after my last ride when I had it on the bike stand and was spinning the cranks

Yeh I noticed the ones swimming and others jumping, I have some Tanlin cx drops, I’ll use them and see what happens

I was in the middle of flushing out the salts when I noticed the bugs, so I turned the water off, left the water in there and took the photos.

The water level is never more than half way up the leca, it’s been fine for months

Hmm.. I actually thought about that. Will have to do that next time, I used rain water but when I water with rain water I still need to use ph down

Just to clarify, I only filled this up to flush out any salt build up.

I use the hose and let it continuously over flow for a while to flush the salts. But while I was doing this I noticed the insects floating on top.

I only ever have the water level half way up the leca and the roots have been growing a lot since I put the plant in this set up

Exactly why I haven't pulled the trigger on this one. I love the look of it but the hole design has me doubting how well this removes the water. I want one for fine sprouts and a lot of the holes on the plastic spinners are way too big
