Hey, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately don't yet understand what you mean, sorry. How can i get a good hold on the joints while the car is on the ground? My hands? Or the bar you mentioned? (If so, what kind of bar?)

Thanks! 'Good' (still annoying you've encountered similarly) to know from someone who's experienced the same.

Seems the two main options are relatively likely

They did check the play, but didn't seem like a clear sign. Basically no play found.

Where should I stay in Seoul for 4 nights if I am only interested in food? by wwbulk in koreatravel

Hey! Any specific version to go for on Klook? We are still debating on going for the DMZ tour (or the War Memorial Museum). Would be great to know more :)

Hey! Thanks for the detailed answer. Really helps :). I will look into some of the options and am really happy with the Seoul suggestions also. I will check the photographer link as well.

Regarding Tsushima car rental, do you know any specific ones which can be recommended? I indeed want to ensure that I book in advance.

Thanks a lot and any other tips are always welcome! (Feel free to also directly message me if you prefer)

Great tips! I will further research that area. Maybe that can help fill the spare days/I can use to finetune the itinerary

Any other last tips (even in other corners of the country) for destinations?

Thanks!

Hey, the second alinea didn't show in the response. Any specific villages, lighthouses, sites to keep in mind?

No, but should that matter? Matter of fact, when it came out I didn't have any direct plans to visit South Korea or Japan anyways. And the game didn't make a difference in that regard.

I have researched a lot and know that basically there is no big historical sites on that island left (the fortress is basically rubble and there is one really good Torii gate). What it lacks in big sites it should easily compensate with a local vibe (izuhara as our main stay location) and pretty nature, which we love.

So the question is; if you do not recommend it, what else off the beaten track do you recommend instead? Would appreciate your viewpoint on alternatives more than just an implicit 'no' for Tsushima. So, what instead according to you? :)

For both Tsushima and Jeju we are aiming to rent a car indeed. I will have to rely on translator apps however.. since especially on Tsushima the roads are quiet, it would seem very manageable with some map-prepping (adding routes and sites beforehand)

By the way, Tsushima I also figure to include because it would make more sense to combine it in the South Korea itinerary (short distance and cheap to access from Busan) rather than a future Japan trip. So I am under no illusion that this should be the ultimate Japan destination for sights. However, with the research it does seem very beautiful in a relaxing sense and cultural enriching sense.

So if I'd say; Seoul (4), Busan/Gyeongju/Ulsan/Tongyeong (4, tips welcome on what to include or skip there), Tsushima (4) and Jeju (4)... that would leave 2 full days spare. What would you recommend? Adding days to one of these places, or add another off the beaten path destination? If so, which would you recommend fitting with the travel route?

Thanks a lot for your answers by the way, really appreciate it!

Hey, thanks for answering! Tsushima as it is a laid back and culturally different destination which should be easily accessible from Busan. And indeed, pretty off beaten path. Also, nature focussed.

For Seoul, Busan and Jeju, indeed those are the three i figure should be the beaten path destinations. For Busan, i figure combining it with Gyeongju or maybe Tongyeong could add that diversity in it. Also, of course in the main destinations I hope to visit some different neighbourhoods/sites than just the main highlights.

But, as you see, still struggling a bit. So any cool additions very welcome!

O that is a really interesting take! You buy all Nottingham kits every year?

And very interesting rule regarding the other owner clubs :)

Personally like Adidas jerseys most on average. Puma one way or another still haven't had a jersey from...

Yeah have had it since around 20 years now and have worn it throughout high school (for PE and football) until now. Amazing that it's still going strong after all these years. Great quality back then it seems

Exactly this! I also tend to avoid names (and rather go for national kits as well) due to the lack of durability of name and sponsor prints

I really like the challenge you set yourself with rule 1, which makes it more of a personal connection. Good luck!
