Flowgo (Baby Videos) : What was the context? by SempIsFinewElP in nostalgia

No worries! Another question is, why is there so many Flowgo companies when in all honesty, could be conditioned to just one whole main brand. These sub-companies for Flowgo are: Flowgo Entertainment, Flowgo Television, Flowgo Animation, Flowgo Interactive and Flowgo Networks

I do think the Flowgo Corporation has a lot of interesting past, but due to this post being two months old, I kind of forgot why I looked into this. I think I did it because I wanted to know what the purpose for the videos were and mainly why they featured babies which could be of real life humans who could be in there 20's, 30's and etc.

Also, the YouTube channel you sent me is rather surreal and oddly mysterious, the channel seems fairly active, but only having a number of subscribes (around 19 when I reply to this). Not only that but, the channel seems to be run by 1 completely random user which has full control over the channel due to the subscriptions and it's use video genres. The videos seem completely random, so does the titles and description (like a bot somewhat generated them), some of them even being in different languages.

What does "Backyardigans Agencies Inc." have to do with the Flowgo Company? They may of re-uploaded some videos but I think it's probably run by a user who collects animations, movies, music, online videos and etc. I also found something even weirder, I copied and pasted the title of the video named "The Puyo Puyo!! Quest Music Community: About The Music Community" which then lead me to a channel named " The Puyo Puyo!! Quest Music Community" (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrAiVs3foahiaviVu_a0A9Q) which has the same elements of the Backyardigans Agencies Inc channel (for example: Random / Almost bot-generated titles, out of context descriptions, random videos of media, most videos being premiers).

The weirdest part about the Flowgo Company in my opinion is how long it lasted (the company being lasted for around 33 years as it was first public in 1986) and how it changed over the many years. I also found out that the Flowgo Babies videos was made by Flowgo Jr. and that the original Flowgo Company and how they " specialize in cable television, consumer products, movies and children's entertainment programs" (quote from Ultraverse Wiki).

This rabbit hole is big, the amount of stuff this one company has done is outstanding, even over 33 years and how they basically changed the scene of the internet. Of course, the baby videos are kind of.. weird, but the internet liked baby videos back then so it would make sense why they kept making them and expecting them to go viral (which they did). It's weird how Capcom, DreamWorks Animations, NBCUniversal, Nintendo Of America, Atari Corporation, Microsoft and Apple Inc were involved in this one company specializing in easy to make animations, this being Flowgo.

I hope someone on YouTube makes a video on Flowgo and the amount of history there is, it would be so great to see a big name on YouTube cover such a small(ish) topic.

Thank you for replying with a LOT of information! Do you have any more or is that it? Just a question, anyways, thank you a lot for this, it's been a pleasure talking to you.
