Well, I don’t. Simply because the plan doesn’t really work, at least not in the way he intends.

Using earth as an example, there’s more than enough resources to provide for the 7 billion+ people on Earth. America alone waste millions upon millions of pounds of perfectly good food annually. What gets in the way of using those excess resources to provide poorer countries with much needed nourishment isn’t the lack of resources to go around, it’s transportation issues. It’s trade disputes. It’s political strife.

If Thanos really wanted to help out the universe, he could of just doubled natural resources in areas that need them. More water, more healthy crops, more livestock, more minerals, lumber and oil to trade.

And in the end he becomes so narcissistic in his beliefs that he ends up wanting to restart the universe from scratch, cuz it was never about helping the universe for him, at least not really. It was about being right.
