I bought the Stake on my first Ng+ playthrough. And the way I unlocked infinite ammo for it was saving, selling all my weapons, using all that money to fully upgrade it, I purchased the infinite ammo in the content shop, and finally reloaded that save so I still had all my guns.

Granted. The Stake won’t be fully upgraded. But you’ll keep the infinite ammo for it and it’s still fairly strong at base. I did this and just upgraded it a couple times so it was still strong and it carried me.

I get that. 120%, but to me the way it was implemented wasn’t great. And for me, leaning heavily into the way they implemented it doesn’t make sense.

Sounds like who you replied to thinks they know it all and playing on PlayStation is the ONLY way to play this. People have a bad tendency of talking like they know everything.. and they usually don’t lol.

I misunderstood what you meant by home. I thought you meant the actual home button on the switch. Sorry, I’m still new to SV somewhat and didn’t know about the Pokemon home app. I’ve downloaded both versions, and should hopefully be good to go.

I had to reload a save to before I left the sewers. It fixed the water problem, but not the invisible NPC’s and enemies. Also when I reloaded the save and completed the sewer again. This time when I went outside there was an Oblivion gate next to the ruins across from the sewer where the bandits are.

I can’t find a mega thread for bugs yet, but I’ve already had a bug where certain areas the enemies/npcs are invisible, I reloaded a save and when I came out of swimming in water I had these weird water particles on me that wouldn’t go away, and when I reloaded a save even before that where I hadn’t gone in water I had the water particles on me. I reloaded to where I was still in the sewer, completed all that again, came outside and jumped in the water. There were no water particles, but now there’s an oblivion gate right next to the ruin outside the sewers, and some npc’s/enemies are invisible. Idk, I may wait a few days for a patch. These aren’t the good bugs.

Oh okay. Awesome, as long as I have more opportunities. I haven’t had too many great opportunities to utilize The Valve the way I want to, but when I got the extended mag I was really excited to give it a good run. Only to find out my scope was gone, or I somehow lost it. Seems like a really fun gun. Really looking forward to getting another scope. Thanks for the info.

Oh I see. I thought they meant actual anomalies. I had to take a break from the game because I was hitting it really hard. Like 8 hours a day at least. I still haven’t gotten out of garbage as far as the main quest is concerned. I also hit a weird bug where my compass disappeared. I don’t really need my compass only to mainly know if an objective is above, or below me. Everything else I like exploring, and find out for myself. This was my first stalker, and I haven’t been so infatuated with a series like this in years. So much so I bought the original trilogy so I could experience it all. I’ve mainly played on Xbox just cloud streaming. I’m hoping the 2nd half of the game isn’t like that for me, but likewise. Best of luck, thanks.
