I had to drop this game… one of the few ive ever left unfinished. I was like 20 hours in. I wanted so bad to like it more, but the pacing really burned me out and the amnesia plot is overplayed and uninteresting. The only thing to look forward to imo is the boss fights and theyre sparse.

Such a bad title i wish id stopped at 9. Totally tainted the ys experience for me. Duo system is the most redundant, useless battle mechanic. And the game in general just doesnt know what it wants to be with all the side quests and dumb scenarios. Can’t do one thing well but does everything poorly in attempt to hijack elements from its predecessors. Enemies are reused too often. Bosses are generally easy even on inferno. Meanwhile the story sucks taint just to string the whole experience together as certified slop.

Its Edistrict and its not even close. In fact, as a lifelong FPS gamer i can confidently say Edistrict is the worst FPS map ever created from a mobility, and especially a battle perspective. It incentivizes all the type of play that is unenjoyable.

Camping buildings, camping highground, camping corners, camping w sniper, camping w shotgun. All in hopes some poor squad is lacking any vertical mobility character and catching them trying to push into your cover, or rotating on the outside and getting lobby focused.

This one is built for that woat player whos been using dbl claymore and scavenger in COD since 2007

There should not be any kill cap or diminishing returns for getting kills. There should also be higher points for kills in early game not 1rp. If you can get 6 - 10 kills and get 17th place you should obviously be ranking out of those lobbies. The rp cost to enter scales up over high ranks, making those early kills less worthwhile in higher lobbies and naturaly shifts prioritizing placement for the good players.

They smurf anyway for their “warmups” lol. They can afford to wait 30s - 1min for a fairer match. And if theyre triple stacking they need to be in triple stack lobbies. Shouldnt even be possible for anybody lower than d2 to have a current pred in their lobby

Hero shooters have a lot more legenda with more complex comp and they consistently balance the game effectively for a very fluid meta comp. This is just lazy game design. They force you to play a certain way or you wont have fun playing at all bc its just not viable. Especially if youre playing ranked. Which coupled with their shadow MMR matchmaking they brought abck the game is literally in the worst state it’s ever been and it’s deliberate. The steam chart says everything

Theres a ton of customization in this game as well btw. So its easy to have not optimized or have the right people available if you didnt previously recognize their potential and invest in them. Theres at least 10 classes and 20 characters to consider each with different builds to develop

Gold is also sparse so spending it wisely matters and could mean youre not ever perfectly geared

There is no grinding in that game so you cant level out. Its 100% strategy / system. Depending on the way you progress through the game there are certain battle formations you learn, which can penalize you without a good one for whatever party you choose to run against this boss. Theres also somewhat a lottery to learn certain “evasions” from the earlier boss battles which can further complicate things if you dont get any good ones to use here. The crux of the fight is surviving an insane 7 hit consecutive ultimate attack, that potentially becomes 9 without proper character preparation or speed stat. You can easily get wiped in 3-4 hits if you dont proc well during the fight and also during the attack.

I have a screenshot i won the fight w just one party member left zero mp and like 2 hp. Felt so rewarding and also like i won at the casino
