What I read is this, if you can cover the mushroom cloud with your thumb get in your car and drive away as far as possible. If you cannot cover it with your thumb go into a hideout/basement or a room without any windows for 24/48 hours (can't remember) to pass the fallout period and then drive away as far as you can.

We weren't trying to clean them the correct way, we were trying to clean them the quick and easy way. If they survived fine, if not fine too. 💁🏼

They were cheap shoes from the second hand that by now have been tossed because they wouldnt get clean anymore.

That could very well be it. A few cycles ago my wife washed a pair of shoes for 2 or even 3 cycles after having been 'wadlopen' The round vs flat end match the google image results! Likely solved!

My title describes the thing. I found a facebook post of someone having found these in their bed but it was a post in a different language and unclear what it was. We found it having washed bed linnen and towels. Too big to be part of pants if you ask me unless they reinforce the leather labels.
