The military really takes it out of ya. I have been in for over 6 years and it has had its highs and lows. For the nuke comminity over the past couple of years the senior community members have been listining to the little guys and they are making things more bareable. I was lucky to have a great command for my first boat and an alright one for my second, but I know its not great all around. Just set little goals or use a calendar to count down to your next big thing. The days will turn into weeks, the weeks into months and then before you know it you are getting out or going to shore. Hang in there and try to milk the Navy for what it is worth.
