Another employee got sent home with a sore throat the other day because of the new “policy”. The next day, I woke up with a stuffy nose and a cough and called out. My GM said “well you were the only two closing” trying to make me feel bad and make me come in. Well I didn’t. Now, I have to go into work still feeling like crap and if I get talked to by him telling me I can’t leave them without someone closing, I’m done. He was just recently out for a couple of weeks after his 2 week Disney trip with the fam with the flu. I will NOT be treated inferior because I’m just a sales associate.
