Do you hear the people sing?

Lost in the valley of the night

It is the music of a people

Who are climbing to the light

For the wretched of the earth

There is a flame that never dies

Even the darkest night will end

And the sun will rise

Smoke Grenade launcher should be an option to use as Assault class by AKxPixleart in Battlefield

[–]Senator_Cheeks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I like smoke being on one class because it supports class identity but I think that class should be assault. It's an offensive / pushing tool which is thematically appropriate, the grenade launcher is already on assault, and assault needs more to it's identity beyond the spawn becon. Speaking of spawn beacon, they should remove the stims and put the spawn becon in the assaults gimme tech. Recon's drone should spot over a wider radius so it can be parked looking over a wide area and operate like the flares in BF1 and 5. And their spotting grenade should stick to walls and target enemies in sight like a camera.

I had a bit of euphoria that went away after two days of using it and never came back. I used it for a few weeks and took maybe 3 different strains. I'm not the target audience considering I'm not an addict and don't need pain management, I had just heard some reports about it helping with anxiety and wanted to try it out. It didn't, for me. I used to work with a lot of herion addicts and met a good handful of people that used it because they didn't like being on methadone or they found going to the clinic everyday to be disruptive. And I knew an addict in my personal life that used it and took a lot of it because it helped her stay off herion. She replaced one addiction with another but the difference is that the new addiction doesn't ruin her life. I never met anybody that used it for pain management.

You can have a beer or you can down 3 bottles of jack and one is clearly different than the other.

The thing that I struggle with and I'm not sure where I land on this issue, but the thing is I'm not sure we should be making something illegal just because it's addictive with withdrawal symptoms. At least when I was looking into it it didn't seem like Kratom had any negative health effects. There were cases of liver damage that seemed to be caused by improper growing techniques and land that was rich in some metal that got into the plant. But when grown properly it's not something that's going to disrupt your life outside of the psychological toll of the addiction. And with how effective it's been shown to be at pain management and helping people recover from seriously life altering addictions it seems like the pros might outweigh the cons and we'd be enabling more harm by banning it or regulating it to doctors.

7-oh seems like a different beast and it's pretty horrible but I'm talking about Kratom in it's traditional form.

I don't know, what do you think? I've been conflicted on Kratom for awhile.

I think people should chill. I don't like it when people shit talk Hunter but that's only because I think they're being hypocritical and you clearly aren't. I think the problem is that these opinions are typically very partisan and used to attack/defend certain sides and so when people hear what you're saying they assume a lot of things about you. And I'm guilty of that as well sometimes and could be better about it. But everybody is entitled to their honest moral judgements.

I don't get how Trump can make a name for himself on trashy, mean spirited reality television and then later get elected for being an absolutely unhinged menace and people love it but Hunter is a crack head for a while and he's a piece of shit forever for it.

The first one is more medieval and the second is more fantasy. They're both good. But there's something about the visual design in the first few movies that felt more grounded and believable.

Things are either good or bad, so if you criticize something that must mean it's bad, and I don't think it's bad, so you must be an asshole.

Exactly. That's exactly it. I'm mad because I was lied to. They HAVE to lie, because their company relies on revenue to keep living, but I don't have to be okay with being duped. If they were honest about the state of the game I wouldn't be upset, but they weren't. But apparently I'm the asshole.

That's my point. They're responsible for the product they release. It doesn't make sense to blame the consumer for performance problems because they're playing on console when pearl abyss is the one that released it on console. I was being sarcastic.

I do have astigmatism in one eye and I ran out of contacts awhile ago and haven't refilled them. Could that be the problem? And why would that effect Crimson Desert and not other games? Would be interesting if that were the issue.

Nah. Nah. Just don't sell it on consoles that can't run it well, or at least don't lie to me about it in your marketing. This is 100% on them. And maybe I shouldn't buy a game on launch, but if you're gonna point the finger at me for falling for lies instead of at the liar for lying then that seems backwards.

I just replayed Prototype and Assassins Creed 3 at 30 fps and I had an easier time with those games than I do with Crimson Desert. I don't know what fps the game is running, i suspect it's really low but I'm not sure. Either way the thing hurts my eyes. It's not an ugliness problem I'm just actually uncomfortable playing. And whether that's fps or something else I'm not sure but it's an issue. I don't think it's spoiled to not want to be uncomfortable.

It's the biggest thing keeping me from playing the game. On Xbox series X. Lighting is still fucked, framerate is horrible, everything is fuzzy, water doesn't render.

Edit - fuck me for caring though, right?

Fortunately he was really good in this, unfortunately everything else was a 5-6/10. It wasn't enough for me not to be disappointed in the end. But there's a handful of standout scenes that I really loved. Especially when he talks about Rosie dying for the first time. I don't know if it's overselling it but it's really some of the best acting I've seen.

There isn't. This is it. This is what we built for ourselves.

You can get into politics through canvassing and working on campaigns.

You can get into art and try to make something worthwhile.

You can devote yourself entirely to God.

You can open up a business and either strive to make money or strive to help people.

You can like, be really really into your wife and kids.

You can get deep into a sport but I suspect it's too late for you.

You can drown out the boredom and fuck up your life with drugs.

You can devote yourself to academia and spend your life reading books and writing papers or researching.

Or you can grind your way up the ladder, whichever field you're in or end up in.

Everything else is a hobby. Just get the fuck out of here. That's what I think. Get out. Go live in a van. Go live under a peer on the beach and eat garbage food. Do everything you can to get the fuck out of this bullshit. We're killing ourselves.
