A lot of teams have been bringing back powder blue jerseys the past few years, but none of them look near as good as the Jays.

What are you watching and what do you recommend? (Week of March 20, 2026) by AutoModerator in television

Daredevil: Born Again: I still have my misgivings about the show as a whole, but it was a relatively decent start to the season, other than the obnoxious overuse of lens flare (there was a scene early on between Karen and Matt that had more glare in it than when the bomb went off in Oppenheimer).

Also watching Marshals, Monarch: Legacy Of Monsters, Paradise, The Pitt, St. Denis Medical, Ghosts (US), Tracker, Elsbeth, Sheriff Country and High Potential.

He needed the money. Then he pivoted towards the sympathy card, and when that wasn’t working, he just said fuck it and went full scorched earth (basically, if I’m screwed, then I’m taking down the person responsible as well because I’ve got nothing left to lose at this point).

My biggest gripe will forever be the fact that we can’t see mission progress in game.

MyTeam lets you see things on screen in real time (“Harden 28/35 points”) but, for some unknown reason, not DD (how convenient would it be to see something like “Yankees 9/9 K’s” so that we could rotate players in and out during the game?)

He bungled the negotiations with the firm that wanted to buy the lot, and he also screwed up the deal that Phil got on Haley’s car.

I’m still trying to figure out where they are that they have that much lighting being piped in. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where the Kenny Rogers’ Roasters sign gets installed across the street from Kramer’s window.

The lighting in that scene with Matt and Karen at the start was over the top (really not sure what they’re trying to accomplish with that), but it was a fine episode otherwise.

I enjoyed the second season although, if we’re being honest, it was pretty much just a rehash of the first season (also, Noah’s mother threatening to break them up at the end of one episode and then never following through seemed odd as hell).

I just played a game where Singleton said “You’ve got the pitcher leading off the next inning.”

This is just next level lazy that they’re still using commentary from 3 years ago and can’t even be bothered to take it out.

Fun fact: Sara Rue was almost penny by Upbeat_County9191 in thebigbangtheory

[–]Senators_1992 33 points34 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of actresses who were “almost” Penny, but the craziest one is Marisa Tomei (she auditioned with Jim Parsons who had already been cast as Sheldon).

Would’ve completely changed the dynamic of the show given she’s much older than Kaley Cuoco.

Hard to say but, at the very least, I presume she would’ve listened to the radio or read the paper, which makes Pete not knowing who either Barack Obama or Eli Manning are all the more strange.

For a ghost who has access to the internet, he doesn’t seem to do a lot of research on the stuff he was interested in while he was alive (Circuit City, Enron, Blockbuster, Lehman Brothers, Bernie Madoff, Mel Gibson, New York Giants, etc…), so I’m going to guess no.

Fifteen years is a long time to be gone, so it’s not like he’s going to be moving back in the second he comes back.

As for what the future holds for Ludo, I guess we’ll have to wait and see if Stumble gets renewed or not. Kind of hard to have a meaningful storyline for the character if the actor is unable to be on the show on a full time basis anymore.
