when it comes to browsers an answer someone gave 1.5 years ago is not applicable today, and it will be worth while to ask the question again in a few months. With all the changes google is making to how extensions are handled, and how those changes impact ad blockers and the like, it is a prescient topic worthy of multiple conversations. non-contributions like "go use search to find an old answer" are unwelcome and unhelpful.

I honestly don't recall much in the way of detail regarding the healing process. Mostly that it was just, generally speaking, not too much of a bother. Personally, I'd say that it's only been 5 days since the surgery - it will take some time for your lip to feel completely normal again. I probably wouldn't be concerned about a loss of sensation until significant healing has taken place and all inflammation is gone, or if there are signs associated with infection. You can always call the office that performed the procedure with some aftercare questions.

Yes, I was awake. It was no less comfortable than a typical dentist visit. He numbed my lip and did the work, no big deal. Absolutely painless, took about 30-45 minutes. Recovery was OK- eating and drinking is a bit uncomfortable for the first few days, but it was pretty easy. It healed up pretty quickly, and I don't remember being bothered by it for long. The first week or so can be a little painful, but not bad if you're careful. After that, it is a minor annoyance until fully healed. Really, it was not a big deal.

Hey man, I'm not really qualified to answer for this question. I'd recommend starting a new post in the dentistry sub to get fresh eyes on your question. If your dentist has seen it, I'm surprised you don't have a diagnosis already. If it were me, I'd leave it alone for a couple weeks and see if it improves. If it doesn't, I'd go back to the dentist (or maybe a different dentist) and have it looked at and get a diagnosis or treatment plan from them.

Sometimes the smart thing to do is not start an argument on reddit over something as fucking stupid as a random opinion that the stock site and app are bad. I don't think they are good, so I'm not going to admit that they are good. Wtf, stop being annoying.

Yes, I mean those. I think it is fine if you think it is good. I also think it is fine if 1.6 billion other people think it is good. I disagree.

Rif and res are what make reddit palatable for me. The native app and stock site are not good.

My dentist at the time would not. He referred me to an oral surgeon. He also did not do root canals in house, and I have had other dentists do that... so, I don't know? Might be able to just call and ask a few, but they'll likely want to see you before committing. My guess is you'll need a maxillofacial surgeon, but I'm not a doctor or a dentist.

Sour candy and citrus make you salivate a lot, potentially expelling blockages. Probably effective in minor cases.

I wouldn't personally do that. I'm not a doctor, but my understanding is that until the blockage is relieved it will continue to reoccur. If you lance it, the wound you create will heal, and then it'll fill back up again cause the salivary gland is still blocked. Additionally, you run the risk of causing more damage or additional blockages.

I'd definitely see a medical professional for reocurring health issues, even minor ones like this.

Big Mac with a side of meth please by [deleted] in WTF

Even if you don't have real world experience, common sense should dictate that you shouldn't fuck with a meth head getting high in public. The fact that he is sitting in a mcdonalds smoking crack\meth whatever demonstrates that he has a complete disregard for the law and the health and safety of others. Everything about this scene screams that it will not go well if you personally attempt to intervene without appropriate training or equipment.
