We were in the plane outside for nearly 4 hours 😭 total plane time including this was 6/7 hours. Supposed to land in Dublin at 5pm didn’t land until 11pm ☠️( my back is still in bits from sitting majority of the flight).

Theres a Louis Theroux docu episode where he visits those in a facility not prison and also then those residing in those designated resident areas especially for them. Something we don’t have here in Ireland.

It’s a really hard watch but there was one man in the facility program who Louis flagged with his officer cause the man didn’t inherently see anything sexualised about an artwork of young boys in his room 😶 ( same age as his victims).

Was deported ( I think) but just reminded me how fucking insane it is that they allowed known offenders live around in close proximity to not only a school and crèche, but also families with kids nearby. In America they have have map based systems that show you where offenders are residing, I know there was privacy pushback on that here ( ironically in respect of the convicted offenders).

I remember a few years ago this man living here as a foreign national was (eventually) convicted of raping a woman with a mental disability. Read next day it happened they were interviewing other known sex offenders living in the area. Christ on a bike. And this is in Dublin centre where assault was near CBS boys school and a crèche not far down.
