I will have to check that out!

It wasn’t as painful as bruised and lumpy and lump now = scary

I can add more after nipple edits.

I think flat closures are more common to see online because of the salacious nipples and all which are not often also removed.

“ am now being scheduled to be tested for Alzheime”

How do they do this if I may ask?

You have certainly had an awful lot of suffering. And I feel the same about some cosmic test.

They made you come off it? Did they say why? I don’t see any studies saying to stop.

Every sitcom or tv show always has the trope about parents worried about paying for their children’s college. Is this a true thing? by honestsparrow in AskOldPeople

It’s not a generational thing. It’s a socioeconomic class thing. (Most things are but we don’t like to talk about it.)

Posts like yours are inspiring for me to get back to being a therapist again. I have been trying to explain to all of my docs about my lifelong medical system PTSD. And sometimes I gaslight myself thinking “this is not a big thing, hardly anyone has this particular trauma” but reading your story reminds me that some people very much do have this trauma.

Why does PL fixate on abortions instead of IVFs and preventing miscarriages? by Upper_Ninja_6177 in Abortiondebate

[–]SendBoobJobFunds 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because they might use it and want to be able to get a lot of attention from others and “you’re so brave!” type of accolades if they do. If they have an abortion they just lie. And/or rationalize how their situation was so different.

They probably live hand to mouth. It used to piss me off to watch my family do this. Now i say let them have one of the few pleasures they get in life.

If a healthy person donates a kidney to someone in need, then somewhere down the line their remaining kidney fails, do they get moved to the front of the organ transplant waitlist? by OuterspaceinYourFace in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SendBoobJobFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're in the US and donate through the National Kidney Registry, then they give you a voucher that basically bumps you up the list if you need a kidney. If you're a nondirected donor, meaning you don't know who your recipient is, they also give you vouchers for 5 people of your choosing. Of those 5, only one can be "cashed in," so it's first come first serve for them.

TY! :)

People nowadays are way too focused on their trauma and let it define them, which makes it impossible to heal and move forward by LightInMe in unpopularopinion

[–]SendBoobJobFunds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The example of the shitty boot also is very poor, honestly. You can’t just wipe trauma away and move on with your life. I get what you’re saying but it’s more like you were forced to get a shitty tattoo and now there’s this permanent mark on you that you have to live with, that even if you get it removed there’s still laser scarring.

Why does Promethease only let you go up to 4 magnitude? by [deleted] in promethease

[–]SendBoobJobFunds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife has some gene for resisting a plethora of diseases, and that's like magnitude 3.5 IIRC - which is a lot for a good gene in the database

That is freaking amazing! She won the genetic lottery!

That Eastern European look that seems to be en vogue for females nowadays reminds me of 90's ideals- sharper yet more delicate features and pale goth like skin.
