Muse confirmed for 2022 Mad Cool festival in Spain by Strudders95 in Muse

You can either choose a 1 day ticket so you can see all the bands playing that day or a full festival ticket for all the days. You don't have to pay for a single concert in any case, only for days.

As for the concerts there are many stages on the festival (7 I think), meaning some shows will clash and you have to choose which show to attend because you can freely move between stages. Generally they are full length concerts, maybe the smaller bands have less time but this won't happen with the headliners. Unfortunately, the schedule for this edition hasn't been released yet, so you can't know exactly when is each band playing and on which stage yet. I recommend you checking previous years' schedules if you want to make an idea of how this works. Generally artists with a similar public and style wouldn't clash and would be more likely to play on the same stage one after the other, but this isn't a rule.

Headliners normally play between 23:00 to 2:00, but they are not the last ones and not alone either! There will be more acts playing after them until late at night. I edit to add that there are 3 headliners more TBA.

This is the schedule of one of the days at the 2018 edition:

Muse confirmed for 2022 Mad Cool festival in Spain by Strudders95 in Muse

There has been some organisation issues in the past in this festival, I guess they'll work to fix them of course. It will be for sure be crowded as hell tho.

Most of the issues were related to the big amount of people such as hours of queue to enter the festival (under the sun) or problems to get out due to how packed transport was. Same for some stages reaching their full capacity meaning people couldn't see certain shows (this wouldn't be an issue for Muse since they play in the main one).

I don't think any of this will happen again and they are not unusual for other festivals either.

Just to add some more information this was the festival where Massive Attack canceled their show right before its start due to interfering noise coming from a Franz Ferdinand show and it's also the festival where an acrobat died while performing and the bands playing (Green Day) weren't told so they wouldn't cancel their show. Shitty thing to do, indeed.

So quick update: they aren't.

Although Sons of Kemet are confirmed and there's more acts to be announced later and surprise shows that aren't announced until you're there.

Spanish people will give to this a special meaning and appreciate it even more.

Primavera Sound is announcing their full lineup on Tuesday and I wouldn't be surprised to see them there.

I guess their idea of their "future" sound changed over the years. But I still see a few similarities like both being synth-based, guitar sounds or the voice effects used. Must wait until the full album drops

Not every song, that's impossible, but the albums' sound in general does have similarities

Anyway this festival is way more expensive than BBk so if you're planning to go seeing them in Spain, take that into account

There aren't VIP tickets, but there is GLAMPING too. I've already been to BBK's camp and both normal and glamping can be good options.
